criminally minded psychiatrist that gets covered up by criminals in the system and got minimum criminal charges instead of maximum that were required, but were hidden by California medical board and its investigators.

Brought my husband to Dr. Thuma in 2017 after a dozen other doctors including psych and med, could not help his situation. My husband had very slurred speech, what appeared to be a worse case of Tourette's Syndrome, emotions that were bouncing all over the place and a very unbalanced mental state. Friends and family were convinced he had a stroke, yet no medical evidence existed to support this. After several appointments, Dr. Thuma prescribed anti-depressants and concluded D had an extreme case of Tardive Dyskinesia. Dr. Thuma prescribed a new drug called Ingrezza. What a difference! As long as D takes his medication on time daily along with the Ingrezza his emotions, temper and physical movements are so much improved. D is so happy and comfortable seeing Dr. Thuma that we will continue to make appointments and hope he doesn't retire anytime soon! Thanks Doc!

Dr. Thuma is hands-down the worst psychiatrist I've ever seen. He laughed at me when I told him how depressed I was, and he called me "weird". He completely lacks compassion for his patients. Avoid him.

This con artist quotes one price in writing then charges more in person,no ethics whatsoever here. The office is a disheveled crackerbox. Save your money and seek help elsewhere.

I had a battle with anxiety and depression as a result of a lot of change in my life in a short amount of time. My career was dipping and my public speaking events were causing panic attacks. My primary care physician literally told me that I just need to find another job, but Dr. Thuma actually listened to my concerns and believed that short term help through pharmaceuticals could get me through a very rough time in my life. Fast forward a year and a half later and I'm now in control of my life and do not need many of the prescriptions I needed when I had my first appointment. I'm actually one of the leaders of my team in business development, obtaining goals that match my potential, and in a great place in my marriage and family. Be honest with yourself and with him, it will only do you good.

the DEA called me and requested a sit down to get info about Dr Thuma and the drugs he has been prescribing me. normally i would have ignored such a request, but the good DR screwed me over. thank god i recorded everything.

Amazing man and doctor

Nathan Thuma has destroyed my life. Not only was his diagnosis inaccurate, he put me on antipsychotic drugs and antidepressants and benzodiazepines and mood stabilizers all of which were unnecessary and his diagnosis was bogus. I can't express how fully this man has destroyed my life. I caution you strongly to seek treatment elsewhere. Do not make the same mistake I did.
