Tried to schedule an appointment for my elderly father who is in a wheelchair and would have to use a transport service. Dr.'s office did not want to see him because the transport services "are never on time."

I made appointment with Dr Peardon. In May 2018. I got in pretty fast. GOOD! Nervous! He reran PSA, did all testing! Good! But that’s where it went south. He kept pushing to use his lab area. I explained I would be happy to as long as it was covered. IT WASN’T! Full disclosure, I didn’t pay! Then it came time to go over test results. There was no give or take, Conversation. He played 80’s rock music while we tried to talk. Suggested another test that I would have to find out where to go on Internet! He’s cheap in the way he runs his office. His staff is rude. The problem came back and new Dr found a problem he should have noticed. Maybe turn the music off!!

It was my first visit o Dr. Peardon who turned out to be a warm, friendly and knowledgeable doctor. My PSA test from my general doctor came back and was high. Dr. Peardon took the time to explain that he would run another PSA test another way that would give us a more accurate read. He took over a half hour with me to check me out properly and explain a lot about my condition to me. I was the last patient, the receptionist had left and he didn't rush me out of the office. Unlike other doctors I have been with, Dr. Peardon asked me all the right questions and calmed my fear of what could be.

Dr. Peardon was not able to accurately diagnose my problem and eventually referred me to a urogynecologist. But this was not until many months later. He has no bedside manner, and he uses terminology as if he were speaking to fellow doctors. Whenever I asked him to elaborate, he was bothered by the fact that I did not understand. He charged me for insurance copays for office visits that involved the extent of writing another prescription. I should not have continued with him when I realized he could not help me. That part was my fault. His office also owed me a refund after charging me twice on one office visit, but they never sent the refund, even though I requested it multple times. My experience with him was terrible, and I would never refer him to anyone.

Dr. was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous.
