My recent appointment at the Shoal Creek location was cancelled late and I did not know till I got there. Though it was somewhat annoying at the time it was logical to cancel as I had a procedure the next day. Furthermore, I think I just did not cehck my messages. Dr. Chehl is a friendly and professional Dr. and I have had no complaints since he took my case. His triage nurse, Michelle is a jewel. RHC III

Dr. Chehl listened to my concerns, did a thorough job reviewing my history, and was able to immediately schedule medical tests to investigate both of our hypothesis on what my issue was. When it comes to medical doctors, the things I look for are professionals who can make clear assertions linked to evidence, and are willing to explore the wide scope of possibilities both related and adjacent to the diagnoses. If necessary, I also it's also important that they have a plan of recommendation if surgery is necessary to improve the condition. Within two weeks time, we've already checked off the diagnoses, pharmaceutical treatments, and an x-ray and endoscopy. All that's left is the decision on what kind of further intervention is necessary. So far, this has been a five star service from Dr. Chehl, and pending final outcome, this has been the most linear and clear experience I've had with a gastroenterologist. There were no belabored periods of guesswork or inaction. I would recommend him… to any others looking for a local gastroenterologist.

He does not listen or ask the right questions. He does not truly care. You show up at his door and tell your problems, he is just not there listening you completely. Throws bunch of unnecessary labs or procedures without properly listening or asking you questions.
