I had Dr. Amin remove both my tonsils in 2010 i think, I barely remember having them removed. I would get tonsillitis at least 3 times a year since I was a kid, but my pediatrician would never allow me to see an ENT specialist while I had HMO insurance, so I just lived with it until my throat became swollen for 4 consistent months. I found out that we got PPO insurance and went to see Dr. Amin. He was so sweet and understanding. The only complaint I have is that he gave me dilaudid for the pain after surgery even tho I told him I had a bad reaction to morphine. I ended up having my sister crush up tylenol for me during recovery which helped with the pain. Other than that small issue, the surgery went well and his office staff were very friendly. I recommend Dr. Amin to everyone. He's the best!

I have been a patient of Dr Amin since 1998. He is truly a fine doctor, man and cares about his patients. There is no one better than this man when it comes to being thorough and the time he gives to each person.Best of the best.

When I have been able to see Dr. Amin, personally, he is absolutely phenomenal. However, obtaining an appointment is nearly impossible, particularly if you have an urgent condition, despite being a long-time patient. The office staff is rude, unyielding, abrupt, no matter your need. I had to find another otolaryngologist and secured an appointment with a kind receptionist at a doctor's office closer to my home the day I phoned, after pleading my urgent need. Nonetheless, because of the poor service of Dr. Amin's office staff, I have decided to transfer my care.

I can see that he would be a great doctor if something came up on the ct scan that he could solve, however in my case, the CT scan did not reveal any major problems. He relied more on the CT scan rather than the way I was feeling. I felt he was dismissive, and felt like he didn't understand what I was going through. It's an awful feeling going to a specialist who you think can handle your unique situation only to be dismissed.

Dr. Amin is the kindest and most patient ENT specialist I have ever visited. He (and his entire office) are extremely prompt. After more than 15 visits, I have never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. If only all Dr.'s could figure out how to do this!!. Dr. Amin takes as much time as needed to thoroughly explain your condition and instantly puts you at ease. His friendly banter and speedy office visits make having to leave work for the appointment a breeze since I am never gone long. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an ENT specialist / surgeon.
