Dr. Nazim Navazali Merchant, MD

I have been going to this office on Turkey Lake for 8 years. All 3 of my children and my grandchild. Words can't explain how rude the office staff are. If you don't speak Spanish you get treated like crap. There are no African Americans that are employed there except Dr. Blackson who is ok. The office manager is just as bad. I thought by calling her and explaining to her what my issues were that she would be more compassionate." I WAS WRONG" After not getting anywhere with her I asked to speak to Dr. Merchant since it ultimately it is his practice. This lady told me NO you cannot speak with him. I am to go through her. All I wanted was the prescriptions for my kids that was supposed to have been sent to the pharmacy that was never done. The office manager told me to make another appointment for the same scripts that I was just in the office for 3 days prior. For me to pay another office visit fee. I am leaving this office and never looking back. This is a sad sad office.

He prescribed my baby an adult dosage of albuterol TWICE! And he asked me what my child is allergic to and I told him and the nurse that my baby is allergic to peanuts. The nurse wrote it down in the file and Dr. Merchant was reviewing the file as he prescribed my baby something that was made with peanut oil! If I hadn't read the medicine box my baby could have had a life threatening reaction. And when I called to complain the response I got was that he is the owner so there's not much they can do. If you're going to have your child go to someone at this practice have it be Dr. Blockson. She is amazing with kids and thorough.

I went to Dr. Merchant as a kid, until I was 20. Now I'm taking my son there. I love him.

Dr Nazim Merchant is the best in town! I wouldn't trust any other doctor with my children than him. He is very thorough and accurate with every diagnosis. He is caring and very professional. My daughter keeps asking to go back and see him. His staff is friendly esp'ly over the phone. It's very easy to get an appointment, sometimes the wait time is long depending on which location you go to but seeing a great doctor like him is worth it.

The staff did not want me to see the doctor saying I owed $50 co-pay when my Cigna did not have co-pays even though the card it self stated 0 co-pay. I paid it due to my daughter looking very sick and as a nurse (not an MA) I knew something was very wrong. Two seconds of the visit we were sent to the ER for a rash with fever. Turns out it was meningitis. It took over 2 yrs to get my $50 back.

Beautiful office, and staff was prompt. Dr. Merchant is nice, and he spent time answering my questions about my kid's sickness.

Nice clinic! The MD was very agreeable! My kid was seen quick, almost no waiting time! I felt they covered the basics pretty well and even exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this Dr.

DR. Merchant has been wonderful! I have Zero complaints, just positive comments about him and his co-workers!

I've had many experiences w/ diff Dr's and so far Dr. Merchant has been my best experience. The office is really nice, they are prompt and I always feel like they take the time to really examine my baby before diagnosing unlike OTHER Doctors! Thank You
