Dr. Neal R Frankel, MD

Dr.Frankel treated me on 5-19-19 for severe bronchitis at St. Joseph Hospital Gave me script for Antibiotics. He didn't stop there he again started listening to my heartbeat my lungs and when he got to my breast bone he didn't like what he heard. He immediately sent me down for a sonogram and found a abdominal aorta aneurysm @ 5.4cm. He instructed me to follow up with my doctor and get this taken care of. The surgery has been done & everything turned out well.I just can't thank Dr. Frankel enough for taking the time to save my life. This aneurysm is the same thing that took my fathers life back in 1965. Once again my family & I Thank you so much for your dedication and caring enough to take that extra step to save someones life. I saw this doctor in the emergency room at St. Joseph Hospital in Towson, MD on 3/28/2012 and he was a first rate "think outside the box" physician who went to great lengths to diagnose my problem. The first set of blood tests he ordered were somewhat inconclusive and he ordered a second set, determined to get to root of the cause of my symptoms. From the second set of blood work he was able to accurately diagnose my illness. Dr. Frankel was incredibly professional, thorough, and compassionate. He listened attentively to everything I had to say each time he spoke with me. I had to see other physicians about this illness once I was released from the hospital and they, too, gave Dr. Frankel high marks. I can't say enough good things about this doctor. St. Joseph Hospital is very lucky to have him.
