Dr. Neda Javaherian, MD

I have tried to post a scathing review of this office and practice and this website will not let me provide details. I was a client for seven years and I’m more broken than ever with several recent trips to the ER. Avoid it his practice at all cost and find someone that cares and won’t jeopardize your life in the process

In my mind this Dr. Javaherian is an airhead. Last time we talked she knew that I was taking 4x7.5mg of Remeron. I had been on this dose for roughly a month under her care. She debated that Remeron (Mirtazepin) comes in the 7.5mg dosage (she didn't remember). Finally she said she would write the script like we'd discussed. When I picked up my prescription, to my surprise, she'd prescribed the medication for 1 pill every night. So tonight I'm supposed to take 1 dose instead of the 4. That's not ok. As a professional she could've looked up her notes and realized that she did a mistake. Not Dr. Javaherian. And she also communicated that I have to wait until I see her next which is in 5 days. Not only did SHE make the mistake, but now I have to pay for it myself with sleepless nights. Stay away from this doctor.

Dr. Javaherian and I had a lengthy discussion about the 7.5mg dose of Remeron. I was prescribed 4x7.5mg for the last 6 weeks. She didn't know that this medication comes in this dosage. At any rate, she agreed to write the script as discussed. To my surprise, when I picked up the prescription, it was written for 1x7.5mg of Remeron! I called all day today to have her correct the error, but in the end she just said that I have to take the 1 pill instead of the 4 until I see her in 5 days. That's not ok in my book. Any doctor knows that abruptly lowering the dosage can cause problems. A doctor worth her salt would've looked at what she'd prescribed previously and would've corrected the error. Not this doctor. Stay away.

This doctor operates a dishonest practice, where you are being tempted by her name but in practice get to schedule an appointment with an assistant (they tell that the doctor "doesn't work so much nowadays" - quote). The assistant was dressed like he just got out of bed, kept giggling and laughing throughout the entire session and also made some uncomfortable comments. When I wrote to the doctor's front desk who scheduled the appointment and asked to pass my complaints to the doctor - no one bothered to answer. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this awful, insulting experience.

I have been seeing her for years. Her office is clean, beautiful and they offer free Coffee (added treat) She Is the best psychiatrist Ive ever seen. She truly knows her stuff and has great bedside manner. Highly Recommend!!!!

This doctor instead of helping people insults patients and treats them line they are her slavers, she tells them to shut up; she shouts at them; she is rude and incompassionate; and she has done it to many people. I recommend that anyone reading this should not see this woman and go to someone else; she sees you for two minutes sand then throws them out.

The office is very easy going! The doctors are very caring and the billing girl is extremely easy on the eyes, extremely!!!

I thought she is excellent! She is very helpful and she cares. She knows her meds!!! She is the only one who has been able to help me.

My experiences with this psychiatrist include: -rushed appointments with a production-line feel -a cocktail of pills (without due diligence: yes, one of those psychiatrists) -being prescribed contra-indicated medication/being over-medicated. Go elsewhere. Do not visit this doctor if you value your health.

She's been treating my wife and is absolutely wonderful
