Dr. Neelofar Mahmood Alam, MD

This office treated my father-in-law very poorly. He was a patient for over 10 years. The office neglected to submit a claim properly which led to it not being paid. When he refused to pay until they worked it out with the provider, they declined him service and told him to get a new doctor. He is very upset and he has several serious health concerns. Couldn’t be more disappointed.

If there is a minus start would be the best for her. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone. I made an appointment with her almost two weeks ago and also doctor office confirm with me a day before. I took off from my work for an appointment. Just five minutes before when I was almost close to the office I got call from doctor’s office that doctor is not coming and will not come next week. She said find another doctor. She doesn’t care or respect anyone else time. Please look for better practice instead of wasting your time with her.

I have seen dr alam in her office. I would send everyone I know her way.

She has no people skills at all, disturbingly arrogant, emotionally inbalance at times as she shows no emotional intelligence when she gets mad! BEWARE THIS PLACE!

Dr. Alam seems knowledgeable and competent, but has a policy of never talking to patients on the phone or by email. Even if you have a simple question, you have to drive over and pay for an office visit. For sending medical information back and forth you have to use the post office. Maybe some people don't mind this kind of policy, but I found it curious and not conducive to good patient care.

Dr. Alam is very nice, she listened to every concern I had, and explained/worked with me well when I wanted to try different treatments. My problem was reaching her when I had questions outside of her office. I either had to schedule an appointment and go out of my way to go just to get a very quick answer, or I had to let the secretary know what my question was. I hated this because somethings I don't want anybody to know except for my doctor. I also didn't like her secretary giving an opinion about my questions.
