"Had a consultation, told they me they would have to get it covered by insurance but had to pay $250 at the time. They planned a dummy date to wait and see if insurance covered it. They never submitted the request for surgery, then they just told us that it was rejected and kept our money. Annoying, disappointing, a ripoff."

What can I say? Dr. Griffith is not only extremely talented and dedicated to restoring the collateral damage as a result of cancer's "cure", but she is a truly loving, caring doctor. My scalp was so disfigured as a result of surgery and radiation due to Stage 2 Squamous Cell cancer (I wish this site allowed me to upload before and after photos). No plastic surgeon I could find except for Dr. Griffith was willing to help me. She not only took on my case, but performed a medical miracle! Thank you Dr. Griffith, I am forever in your debt!

Dr. Griffith is one of a kind. She is attentive, thorough, compassionate, and genuinely cares about her patients. She made me feel completely at ease during each visit. Her entire office staff is equally as kind and compassionate. I couldn’t imagine going to any other surgeon and I will be forever grateful for their care.

Called 4 months in advance to schedule surgery. Was assured with the appt given I could have surgery beg of nov. recd call about another $100 consult that had to be cash and they would submit to insurance. When I went for appt they were “too busy” had nothing available as promised even though THEY scheduled me 4 months earlier. Tina was rude . Just got a letter they want additional $12 that my insurance paid me. They should be refunding me not asking for more. If this is how they treat patients don’t want to surgery there !

I met Dr. Griffith by chance. I had an infection post mastectomy and she agreed to perform surgery on me to get me healthy again. From the moment she walked in my hospital room door, I knew we were embarking on a relationship that was not going to end with this surgery. All my cancer treatments ended and I needed to decide about reconstruction. There was no doubt in my mind that I was going to have DIEP Flap surgery done by Dr. Griffith. I am 1 week post-op and my pain is minimal and her work is beautiful. She is a beautiful person who truly cares about her patients. If I could give her a 1,000 stars, I would. Her office staff is just as spectacular and they do all they can to make it so easy on the patient. I couldn't recommend them any higher.

I called for an appointment for my adult daughter. They told me they were not in network but they can get an out of network exception, they do it all the time. We made an appointment and paid a one time fee of $150.00. They saw my daughter scheduled a dummy date for surgery to get insurance to respond for coverage and also scheduled a real surgical date. The dummy date came and I had never heard from them. I called and they had never had submitted to insurance. They then submitted and did not get an out of network exception so we are out of luck, lost time (daughter wanted surgery over school break) and out $150. Complete incompetence.

Excellent every way

If you have been through mastectomy/lumpectomy procedures and see Dr. Griffith for reconstructive surgery, you will feel like you have a friend who made you feel whole again. She is incredibly intelligent and skillful, well respected in the medical community, and is also very caring, compassionate and kind. Added bonus...she gives HUGS!

Dr. Griffith and her office staff are absolutely amazing. I can't say enough. They made a very hard situation in my life so much easier with their caring, love and support.
