Dr. Neil Howard Aaron

Growing up, Dr. Aaron lived across the street from his pediatrician. He was a role model and helped me establish my rapport with children. By the time I was 15 years old, I knew I wanted to be a pediatrician and it was because of him. Healthy kids have the time and energy to chase their dreams. Watching kids grow up and develop into their own people and personalities is one of the best parts of the job, says Dr. Aaron. I think one of the things that makes me an effective doctor is my emotional attachment to my families. But that also can make the job exhausting. According to Dr. Aaron, building trust with children and families is key to providing good care. It takes time to establish trust, and I respect that. I try to treat all of my patients like family. As a parent, Dr. Aarons goal was to raise well-rounded kids . . . Children who were both physically and academically active. He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees the University of Michigan graduating cum laude in both. Dr. Aaron completed his medical residency at the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia.
