Dr. Bercow is an amazing doctor. I’ve never ever seen a surgeon with his passion, dedication, and care for patients and family. He is one of the best in this speciality and saved my father’s life! If you are lucky enough to have Dr Bercow, you are in good hands.

Dr Bercow saved my dad’s life. He performed a bypass surgery while the heart was still pumping, and no heart-lung machine was required. A total of 7 bypasses with blood vessels taken from the leg. Operation was a success, no blood transfusion was required, and my dad was able to be discharged without any post op complications. He is now home recovering which still brings tears to my eyes. Our family will be forever grateful to Dr Bercow, a very rare surgeon with impeccable skills, experience, knowing, and to top it off loves what he does and has great compassion for his patients. Can’t say enough good things about St Francis hospital and the staff of caring nurses there as well. Highly recommended!

I would recommend Dr. Bercow without reservation. He is extremely experienced, approachable and calming. I had a tumor removed from my heart following a stroke. It was terrifying and the operation was done within days of the stroke - I had never been in a hospital prior to this event. Dr. Bercow saved my life and gave me peace of mind during a confusing, upsetting period. He should have a huge ego for someone that routinely holds our hearts in his hands, but his bedside manner is instantly soothing. I will be eternally grateful.
