Dr. Neil Datta, MD

I’m writing to share a concern about my recent appointments with Dr. Datta at CHA Everett, MA. During my first visit, I waited approximately 25 minutes past my scheduled appointment time before being seen. During my second visit on January 12, 2026 at 1:20 PM, I arrived on time, but there was an administrative delay during check-in. As a result, I reached the clinic area about 10 minutes after my scheduled time. At that point, Dr. Datta asked the front desk to reschedule my appointment. When I requested to speak with him briefly to explain that the delay was related to the check-in process, I was told he was not willing to speak with me. Shortly afterward, I saw him in the hallway, greeted him, and he did not acknowledge me. I understand that schedules can run tightly and that late arrivals may sometimes need to be rescheduled. However, in this situation the delay was administrative, and the way the situation was handled felt discourteous and unprofessional. I’m requesting that CHA… review this incident and clarify the clinic’s policy when delays are caused by check-in or front desk processes. I’m happy to provide additional details if helpful.
