Dr. Neil J O'regan, MD

Dr. O'Regan showed me a lack of respect and dignity for my concerns. He was abrupt and appeared annoyed when I asked for clarification on specific concerns about side effects regarding my options. He is not encouraging regarding supplements that has proven to enhance women's wellness. He made me feel like I wasted his time and that my concerns didn't matter. Waste of my time and money.

Couldn’t get an appointment with my regular gynecologist and was referred to Dr. O’Regan. He was very nice and I’ll be going back to him every year.

I have just recently started seeing Dr. O'Regan after moving over from my long time ob/gyn. I was nervous because I loved my past OB but he's very hard to get in with and now I'm in need of GYN treatment. Dr. O'Regan is very kind, listens and takes so much time with you. He makes you feel very comfortable as another reviewer said. I have to have a surgical procedure so changing to someone new has been nerve wracking, however he makes me feel good about the change and I feel he's very competent on top of being very kind. If I was having another child I would not hesitate to see him for OB services as well.

I never write reviews, not unless I have great things to say. That being said, I've been meaning to write this for a bit now. I saw Dr. O'Regan for nearly 5 months at Harvard Vanguard in Chelmsford before he transferred to OBGYN Assoc of Lowell (LGH), then switched there for the remaining months of my (first) pregnancy so I could still have him as my doctor. It must say something if I followed him, am I right? He is very thorough in all aspects from your routine office visits down to delivery and following up with you in the hospital. He made a wise medical decision to plan me for a caesarean. My incision is perfect, by the way. He is gentle and has a great bedside manner - really makes you feel comfortable. The wait is minimal. He is easy to get an appointment with, and thank God for that given my super hectic schedule. I will continue to see him for GYN related things as well as any future pregnancies. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an OB or even just a… GYN.

This doctor needs to take courses in how to treat his patients with dignity and respect. It's unfortunate that he is so lacking in these areas.He is very prejudiced in his opinions which are NOT good practices for a man with his educational background.
