Excellent Dr.

I have a patient of Dr Neil Sherman's for 8 years now. And to my dismay I can't believe some of the negative remarks others have written. Dr. Sherman is Outstanding! If you want excellent care from a devoted and highly intelligent doctor, Dr. Sherman is the Best. Those who complain about waiting should go elsewhere. When you want the best. You will wait. People wait for the cable company. Why all the belly aching about time in the doctors office. If you want to go in and out quickly you can. You just won't get an outstanding physician!! On a scale of 1- 5 stars. Dr. Neil Sherman deserves every single one. If you want to see the BEST in this area for a Urologist. He is the doctor you want. Of course, there may be a wait, but he is worth any amount of time. If you want to see a mediocre doctor, to not wait your care will suffer. And in the end you will be looking for Dr. Sherman.

Dr. Sherman is a very good doctor BUT he is over booked. I have waited on average 1.5-2 hours to seehim PAST my scheduled visit. Then you only speak with him for 15-20 mins. This is every visit. His office staff “double books” visits on a daily basis. I was scheduled as first patient, and still waited 45 mins. I understand emergency visits. One staff member told me “ he is already double booked most of the morning but we will fit you in” So you wait up to 2 hrs to see doctor then 2 hours in traffic on 287 to go home. Which is usually a 20 minute ride. Edison traffic is horrible. I mentioned this to him as I was walking out on one visit. He stopped and saw me. He said he would talk to his staff. That was 2 years ago. Will see him a few more visits, follow up to surgery, then hopefully done. A patient in pain waiting over an hour to see their doctor is ridiculous.

I have been using dr.Sherman's partner, dr Grubman, for 33 years. Dr. Grubman retired in 2018. Dr. Grubman was the best dr. of all the doctors I have used in my 70 years. Dr. Grubman suggested that I continue with dr. Sherman. I have seen dr. Sherman three times and I am convinced that dr. Sherman is another great dr. like dr. Grubman was to me. He is down to earth, caring, knowledgeable and compassionate. I consider myself to be very lucky to be dr. Sherman's patient.

Patient and comforting when explaining a medical condition(s). Takes time with his patients and most importantly doesn't rush in and out of the exam room, like others.

Dr. Sherman listens well, makes sure all of your questions are answered. He is smart, and is pleasant to work with. I am happy and confident in his care for my urological needs.

I visited Dr. Sherman because I had pain in my testicles and it was really uncomfortable. He was my wife's urologist and I had met him once before and really liked how he treated my wife. Dr. Sherman is not only extremely knowledgable and experienced, he is genuinely interested in his patients' well-being. He is EXTREMELY thorough and patient and listens and asks questions about history. I felt very comfortable with him and I have to say that of all doctors' I have seen in my 47 years, I am most impressed with his demeanor and knowledge. I am VERY happy that I saw him and look forward to visiting him periodically as has been his suggestion to stay on top of my health and prognosis going forward. I am extremely happy that he is my doctor and strongly recommend him to anyone who needs to see a urologist.

Dr.Sherman is by far above and beyond an outstanding physician! HE has been my doctor for the past 4yrs. How he makes a sensitive issue so comfortable to discuss is unbelievable. He gives ample time to discuss it. He's a very caring and passion about his work.

One of the best doctors I have ever met. He is extremely knowledgeable regarding his medical specialty and keeps the patient at every level. He talks to the patient so that he understands what his condition is. He doesn'y speak in medical terminology. He always listens to his patients and is always looking out for their best interest.
