Dr. Neil Arther Zolkind, MD

Dr. Zolkind is kind and compassionate. Although, reluctant to modify or change medication. I was ok with his med management for me. The receptionist Joy is not a nice person. I'm always willing to give someone the benefit of the doubt or chalk it up to even a bad day. However , on multiple occasions - she was rude , insensitive and not helpful. When working with people that have mental illness , It's so important to have some compassion. Joy has zero compassion and and is not helpful. She makes you feel like you are bothering her is extremely short when you have a question or need clarification about something.

Dr. Zolkind has only ever been kind, patient and direct with me. I always feel like things are going well whenever I leave, that is, until I have to deal with one of the most abrasive, nasty and disgruntled receptionists I have ever seen. You could come in with a simple misunderstanding and she'll berate you the entire time as if to make sure you knew this was all your fault and you're an idiot for it.

I just read this review and I completely agree. She is the reason I will never go to this office or recommend it to my patients The receptionist JOY, is the nastiest most disgusting person I’ve ever dealt with. She should not be allowed to work in this field.

Dr. Zolkind is very detail oriented, kind, direct and thorough. I strongly recommend his services.

He is only good for writing prescriptions so if that is all you want he is your man. I had been going to see him for over a year and I bet he couldn't tell you a thing about me. He doesn't even try to pretend he cares. Asks no questions. I was always in and out of his office in under 5 minutes and I am sure he billed my insurance company for atleast 45 minutes. In addition, one of the receptionists is extremely rude and nasty.

he was a very caring doctor in new York city, he took time out to talk to all of us he was so kind to all of us and I wish him the very best in life there are 2 sides of a story his staff was kind too , he really cared for us as patients I wish him well in life we all do hes a kind gentle man

Horrible Bedside Manners! I am appalled that he is allowed to work with vulnerable patients.

Crabby old man, condescending for sure, doesn't listen just writes prescriptions You basically pay for the prescription, he doesn't do anything else
