Dr. Nelly Durr Chambers

Went in looking to change my meds an she tried to give me the same meds that She first started on an that gave me terrible side effects years ago...all she had to do was review my records but she didn’t even care enough to glance at my history .. honestly a joke..not to mention when I say she I mean one of her nurses because she’s always to busy to actually see her patients...been there for 10 years at least I’ve never even ment my doctor...will be changing doctors as soon as possible

I have been a patient of Dr Chambers for over 4 years and She has always been not only thorough, but, also takes the time to listen and always has your best interest mind. Thank you!!!

I have been seeing Dr Chambers for many years, has helped me very much in the past; however, her staff continues to progressively become very lax in follow up phone calls and information. I have been waiting for a return call from her medical assistant or from her PA since last Friday. Today is almost a full week since I last spoke with the physician assistant who told me I would hear back from the office on Monday but I have received nothing. I called today at 10:45 this morning, left another message and again nothing and the office is now closed. Last Thursday I got a message from my pharmacy that a prescription was ready for me from Dr. Chambers but I had no idea what it was for since no one from her office told me I was going to have a new prescription nor for what. Unfortunately these things in my mind affect her overall rating since her staff is so inefficient.

Dr. Chambers is one of the kindest doctors I've ever met. She is caring & understanding and truly listens to what you have to say. She understands your problems & helps you find a resolution to make you feel better. My appointment are mostly on time & or a short wait. The staff is friendly & helpful. I would recommend Dr. Chambers to everyone.

No one answers the phone on most occasions, get a recording.

I was reading reviews and I certainly agree with the appt. problem. It is impossible to get through to the office or to get an appt. She is a wonderful doctor and I think that the [problem lies within her office staff. No office is that busy that the phone cannot be answered by someone , or you get the answering service and leave a message to be answered in 24 hours.

No one has answered the phone at this office for a whole week, no return phone calls, I have a new patient appointment today at 5:30 that I have been waiting for 3 months to get in and don't want to skip it but if it is this difficult to get in for an appointment not sure if I want to go through this every time I need something or an appointment. very conflicted about this

your physician, you are indeed fortunate. She is one of the rare, competent, knowledgeable, medically trained individuals whose humanity survived intact. I was her patient in NY at Weill-Cornell, and felt it a great loss when she was forced to relocate because her husband accepted a job out-of-state. Of the dozens and dozens, perhaps hundreds of doctors I've consulted over seven decades, I recall three whom I would recommend without reservation. Of the three, she is the only one whom I believed was my unconditional advocate, who fully engaged me, and merely being in her presence itself had begun my healing. I can't speak to her current assignment, i.e., staff, promptness, etc., however, if you have to wait one hour or twenty four... she is worth the wait.

I received several recommendations for Dr. Chambers so I called the office to see if the Dr was accepting new pts and to make an appointment. Can't talk to a real person, only get an automated system. So I left my name, telephone # and message as directed. It'd been a week and I have not had a response. Poor system that seems to turn people away. If the Dr isn't accepting new pts just return my call and say so. Now I don't think I even want to see this Dr if this is the way things are run. Good luck.

Dr Chambers is absolutely one of the best. Knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate, takes her time... LOVE her.
