Dr. Nelson Bunin, MD

Dr. Bunin has been Primary Care Physician to my husband and me for many, many years. We are very sad to see him retire, and we know we will never have the same kind of relationship with a doctor again. He has been calm, thorough, patient and thoughtful with us since we were beginning our adulthood. We are now approaching our senior years and will be changing to a new doctor, with regret.

This doctor likes to lecture and judge, without giving the patient any useful guidance. My visit there was just stunningly stupid, as he told me his opinion of each facet of my history, most of it way off base. He's not interested in listening to his patients, and therefore diagnosing them correctly.

Dr. Bunin is a good doctor for those, like me, who lean towards letting things heal on their own whenever possible. However, when needed, he's been very efficient about diagnosing the problem and recommending treatment. He's also managed to squeeze in appointments at times when he's busy with other things - e.g., seeing me in a temporarily unoccupied hospital room while he was doing rounds.
