Dr. Nelson Kraucak, MD

I initially went to see Dr. Kraucak for Bio Identical hormone therapy. Lots of unnecessary tests were performed in the next few weeks from that initial visit. Appointments were scheduled for blood work, ekg, sonogram, thyroid , hand scan, gyn exam. Each test required a separate appointment to go over the results. By now its been 3 weeks and 5 appointments. At every appointment he tried to sell me supplements. On the last appointment I told him we needed to review the blood work he had for several weeks. He continued to try and sell me supplements. He only wanted questions before he went over any results and not after. Every appointment he was an hour or more late and then spent 5 minutes with me. He became angry when I declined supplements and said I just wanted the hormone therapy. He stormed out of the office. I cancelled any further appointments. One the most arrogant and unprofessional doctors I have ever been to in my life.

He’s very pushy with the natural supplements that are sold within his business. If you ask for a prescription they will only refill it after being seen For a another appointment. So every time you need a refill that means you need to pay extra co-pay and make time for an appointment just so he can get reimbursed for insurance for an office visit that is not needed. I don’t think that is right. He also recommends lots of additional “natural” treatments but of course they’re not paid for by insurance and most people cannot afford. He also spoke very rudely to me when I was inquiring about symptoms I might be having and made me feel very much ashamed for even asking for help.

This doctor is arrogant, insulting, and uncaring with a bad attitude. And did I mention he becomes verbally abusive and angry when you ask for a referral. He operates a "drug" store and continually pushes his pills. One cannot leave his office without exiting this store. Some of the pills he recommended to replace what I had been taking for the last 20 years actually made me sicker and my numbers from the lab reports where not good at all. His solution, buy more of "my pills". Thank you, but no thank you. After the anger he displayed, I knew it was time to get away from this situation. Fortunately, I saved myself considerable amount of money by leaving this scam artist. My advise, stay away.

Not your ordinary doctor visit. I went to this office years ago. It was an experience out of the ordinary and fit my "natural" lifestyle. No "drugs", coverups or excuses.

He is by far the most competent doctor I have ever known.

Dr Kraucak is very informative, listens to my problems and gives solutions. He goes over medications and explains things better than any doctor in the past.
