Dr. Nerissa Violan Malabanan, MD

Dr. Malabana is an excellent pediatrician. She is competent and responsible. She has very good bedside manner. She is caring and patient to parents concerns. We had been to her practice for many years even after several years we moved. Her office staff are also very nice. After we stopped to go to her practice due to commute, if she is still willing to answer questions if our current pediatrician is not responding. I highly recommend her and her practice.

I brought in my son who has been having trouble going to the bathroom (poop), and she automatically went into her Constipation Diet Monologue, didn't let me explain or elaborate other than the frequency of his bowel movements. She suggested I give him MiraLax, which is a slow-acting laxative, even after I had explained to her that when my son does finally go, it is not hard it is soft. She then told me "well, I am not sure what could be going on", seriously? And not to mention her bedside manners could use some serious improvement.
