Dr. Nestor Cagol Punay, MD

Went for initial visit, had to endure rant of how stupid our country was in its response to Covid and how much better other countries were. My first and last visit, I only wanted a professional opinion regarding symptoms.

This is the best doctor I've seen he's very passionate about his patients.

Dr. Punay is very friendly and outgoing, his bedside manner deserves an award. He genuinely cares for his patients, and he educates the patient as well as family members about the issues they are experiencing!

Today is Wednesday, on Monday we met with Dr. Punay in regards to a family member, he observed, tested, reviewed our loved one. He reviewed our worries, discussed current and future concerns. Prescriptions were given, we had them filled same day, started the evening dose, have continued prescription dosage as written. Today the patient is so wonderfully changed, our relief is great. The most wonderful part is that there are still medical tests already scheduled and near future appointments, our hopes are lifted, we move forward with relief. Today due to the mental changes experienced due to the prescriptions given, have been miraculous, if today were all we had it was worth our meeting with Dr. Punay, but the blessing is we have more days. Our family is so grateful, we are thankful. All of the office staff were wonderful, they lightened what has been a stressful situation for our us. I don't do reviews and I don't gush on, until now, but due to what we are experiencing I felt a need… to give a review. I recognize the battle we have ahead of us, but it looks to have future happy shared moments, I couldn't ask for more, but I have a feeling more is what I should expect, due to all the efficiency we experienced with the help given to our loved one by Dr. Punay and his staff.

Nursing home patients have limited time and that is 2 hours. Dr. Punay has been late the last couple of visits and its' important for van transportation to get them back for meals. You should note nursing home patients and be more prompt. Usually this is not the first visit and it should not take as long to do exam.

I had suffered with headaches all my life. Since I was about 6 years of age I can remember have these headaches that would just come and go almost as fast as they came. But some times they would come and stay. They would mainly be on one side I would call them half of a headache. Well my dad thought I was just trying to get out of school and nothing was ever done. so for many years I suffered. Then one day I was with a friend she thought I was having a stroke I knew I wasn't that it was just one of my crazy headaches that I would go lay down with a ice pack to the neck and it would go away. Well she took me to the e.r. and the intern there knew right off the bat what it was. That I was having seizures. And he sent me to Dr. Punay. I tell you I have never found a Dr. like Dr. Punay he explains things to you. He treats you like family. Sometimes he spends I think alitte bit more time with me then he is suppose to. But he is really a great man. He is understand and caring got good bedside… manners. I would never go to anyone else. I was sent to someone else by another Dr. and just after 1 visit I never went back. .

first i would like to say at the top of this page you have dr. punay as a female he is a male. i went to several doctors trying to get help for my daughter finally i found the best dr any where around. Dr. Punay has taught me so much about my daughters head injury. I never knew she had epilisey until I went to him. We even went to Houston everyone treats you as a number but not Dr. Punay. He has the best bed side manner of any doctor I have ever been to. He is very smart and very caring I recommend him very highly. I don't have any idea what our life would be like without him.

I just feel like I,m not getting any better. I really having trouble with my balance and the shaking, I was dignosed with maybe Lou Gerig's disease by a nerorologist before I left Marlin. I am really getting nervous as I have quit my job here effective the 12th, and moving back to Marlin. I am a Vet. and looking to going to a VA. I need my records release to me to take with me as I'm doing the same from scott & white. I need your medical opinion on what you have deternmine or what you think it might be, the meds you prescribed are helping but not the shaking and balance, I am trying to get some medical assistance through the VA. I hope this is not a problem. Thanks
