Dr. Nevber S Cemaletin, MD

Used to be a good doctor and now treats her long-time patients like crap, gaslighting them at best, and being verbally aggressive and rude and toying with their health at worst. A family member had an appointment set up with her and Dr. Cemaletin canceled the appointment a couple hours prior to seeing them, with no valid explanation, and saying the next appointment she could offer would be 6 months later. SIX MONTHS. This woman is a cardiologist, expected to deal with people with potentially severe cardiac conditions. She then told another family member she was going to cancel their appointment that had been set months prior because she "didn't want to have to deal with their (the patient's) anxiety." This patient is dealing with a chronic condition that needs to be checked regularly or else they could need emergency surgery, as things can worsen very quickly. This was Dr. Cemaletin's diagnosis - she'll tell you your cardiac situation is touchy and then she'll pretend she never said… that and will cancel your appointments out of what? Her own convenience? Who even knows. I prefer not to give the actual specific medical details here, since this is a public forum. Wildly unprofessional and rude and that's not even taking into account her absolutely abysmal office staff. Stay far away.

Dr. Cemaletin was the only one of four cardiologists who could diagnose my Afib and determine that it was connected to menopause. Other doctors said "Oh, that's not possible" and Dr. Cemaletin said "Oh, I have that in my female family members as well".

One of the most caring and professional people I have met in a long time. She spent time explaining my heart condition and treatment...better than the three other cardiologist I have seen the past 5 years and my internist. Well spoken and intelligent. Truly caring. I did not expect this and none of the other doctors on my Insurance companies list took the time and made the effort.
