Dr. Nfn Sumedha

Impatience when it comes to listening to your concerns and complaints. Became Very combative when I voiced concerns about the care that I was receiving and stormed out of my room telling me to find another Doctor before slamming the door as she walked out. I feel this was very unprofessional and that I was well within my rights as a patient to be honest about the fact that I was feeling worst than when I arrived in the ER and was told that by Dr. Sumedha that I was only here for pain medication witch is not true. I have a chronic illness that does require medication for stabilization. I have been seen by multiple physicians at this facility and have never been accused of seeking pain medication nor do I leave with more than two days of medication if any when being discharged. I am appalled that a physician that has only met me once would make such allegations without getting to know me or consulting with her colleagues that may know me better. This woman comes across as too busy to read a chart or do any thing other than a 60 second inspection. My wife spent 2 days in the hospital in serious pain. Baptist has 20 years of her medical records, so they know that she isn't somebody just trying to score pain meds. Each morning that Dr. Sumedha checked on her, it was like she had no clue what was going on. She must have never checked the chart. She eventually discharged my wife saying that she was no longer in pain with no explanation of the problem. I had to track her down and keep asking what did the 2 days of test find. She finally pulled the chart and read the findings. There was no clear answer on the cause. I do understand that causes can be hard to find, but offering no explanation, displaying no effort of reviewing the previous days charts, and seemingly too busy to even talk to you - all seem unacceptable. Still claimed that my wife was pain free although the charts had 2 days of history stating otherwise and of… course wouldn't prescribe any pain medication even though it was weekend and no hope of reaching her normal doctor until Monday. Oh, by the way, my wife has just spend the last 12 hours on the floor, crying - how's that for pain free. If you're in serious need of medical attention, you'd be better off going to an automotive mechanic than this doctor.

This so called Dr, never ever let this woman around anyone you love,she is unprofessional, wants young Americans dead,she must have her license took from her as fast as it can be done,and I am having her investigated right now.
