Title: Mixed Experience – Final Safety Check Was Appropriate Review: There were positives and concerns in my experience. The final decision to cancel surgery based on a clinical finding showed that patient safety was taken seriously. However, the lead-up to that point involved late-stage communication and multiple contacts in a short window, which felt confusing. In my case, it seemed that a key issue could have been identified earlier in the process. Patients may benefit from asking detailed questions about timelines, pre-op review steps, and how their medical history is assessed before scheduling.

Dr. Nguyen was recommended by my PCP. Scheduled a new patient exam (booked over a month out). I showed up on time (during the Dallas snowstorm), only to find out she'd already left for the day! Office staff said she'd emailed me notification (EMAILED???) - when I looked, it was sent just THREE MINUTES BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT TIME!! Rescheduled and waited ALMOST AN HOUR! My husband was so mad because he was the one that said we should give her another try. She called me later to apologize, blaming it on the construction in the office. It took you an entire HOUR to find me in the exam room? Took the wrong turn at the copier machine and wind up in Albuquerque? WHATEVER with a capital W!

Dr Nguyen is an expert in robotic assisted Hysterectomies and took excellent care of me before, during and after my surgery. She was always open to answering all my questions and took extra care during my surgery to minimize post-op healing time. I'm forever thankful for her kindness and warmth throughout my time in her care. Can’t recommend her enough.
