Dr. Nhuai Christine Le, MD

Dr Le is pleasant and will fit you in for visit if needed. She is well informed about a lot of issues and if she is not sure she does not hesitate to refer you to the appropriate specialist.

Dr. Le has taken such good care of my mother for more than 10 years. She cares about her, and goes above and beyond to resolve every illness. My mom trusts Dr. Le so much!!

Dr. Le has been my doctor for many years. I can say that she takes excellent care of me. Diagnoses what really is my medical concern and discusses what needs to be done. Waiting time at the appointment is very short. Dr. Le's time with me is according what needs to be addressed. I have never had problem with appointment scheduling nor with the office staff.

Dr. Le had come recommended to us by another one of our doctors. Dr. Le is very brisk and curt. She doesn't listen to what you are saying because she is too busy entering things in the computer. Active listening requires eye contact and attending to what the person is saying. I have had to stop her on her way out of the office, because I hadn't finished telling her what was wrong. She asks minimal questions and if you ask her if something could be related to something else, many times you get a response of I don't know but I don't think so and I need to get to my next patient. You will also be told when you call for an appointment when they ask why you want to see her that if you tell her two unrelated incidents, you have to schedule 2 appointments. So don't even think about going in with the flu and a sprained ankle you will be scheduled for 2 separate appointments and not on the same day. I noticed she bills the insurance company 15 minutes for the visit. I don't think she… has ever spent more than 5 with me. Her office staff needs serious training in customer service. Yet, I have seen Dr. Le belittle her nurse in front of other patients, including me. If she escapes before you finish talking to her and ask the nurse to tell her you didn't get a chance to talk to her about something, the nurse looks scared. I have followed the nurse out of the treatment room while she tells Dr. Le that I need to see her again and Dr. Le will look at me and tell me to schedule another appointment. Paperwork from other doctors I see are rarely filed in my chart. Most of the time they are "lost". I have tried faxing, mailing, even bringing results in personally and they still get lost. I was told by the receptionist and the nurse that I never got them the results of a certain test they said I needed. I made a special trip to give it to them. I handed it to the receptionist, and the nurse was standing right there and I told her Dr. Le needed those results. When I came back in 2 days later, Dr. Le began to chastise me for not getting her the results. I was told "I can't treat you if you don't bring in the results I tell you to," When I told her I had brought them in she called the nurse and the receptionist into the treatment room and said Mrs said she brought the results in 2 days ago and they are not in the computer system and she said she gave them to you. They didn't remember and Dr. Le said if you brought them in I would have them. My response was I did bring them in, maybe your staff misplaced them. She told them to go look for them and said this was keeping her from her other patients (there was no one else there at the time). I told her I would be happy to leave and mail a certified copy of the results return receipt. As I was on the way out, the nurse found the results. They had fallen off of a stack of papers that were not dealt with. Dr. Le told me I would need to schedule another appointment since she had another patient waiting. The other patient was also in the hallway while this was going on hearing all this. So much for privacy and HIPPA. So much for a caring doctor. This was not an isolated incident. It was the one that put me over the edge. I know I can find another doctor who shows she cares about her patients, listens to them and can control her staff.

I'm responding to the person who wrote the "rude staff" comment from Aug 1st. . Let it be known that this woman scheduled and canceled her 80 year old father's appointment more than 3 times. she either did not bring him or tried to cancel at the last minute. When my staff tried to explain our policy to her she cut her off with F word this and F word that. We hung up on her because would any business want this kind of rude obnoxious customer?

The office staff is unprofessional and rude. The receptionist is incapable of communicating time frames when requesting an appt and has limited knowledge of Medicare solutions insurance. The manager is even worse. When I called to reschedule an appt for my 83 y/o dad due to a death in the family she told me no because it has been rescheduled too many times already, even though it was the staffs fault the first time. She then told me to be quiet and listen to her and that she “really doesn’t give a crap about my circumstances!” These people lack compassion which should be the foundation of every health care professional’s behavior.

Dr. Le is a good Dr. But her staff has always been lacking. They seem to get worse.

I have been seeing Dr. Le for many years for a variety of issues. Each time I have an appt., she is willing to take the time to listen and understand what issue I'm having.

Two office visits. She is knowledgeable and business like. Firm. Might be a little inflexible. Staff friendly and efficient. I'll stay.
