Dr. Nicholas J Angelastro, DO

I was shocked when I read his office visit notes about me. VERY condescending the things he wrote and he had some garbled words which is strange coming from a medical doctor. I decided I don't want someone who can't even put a sentence together caring for me AND who I thought I could entrust with my private information and he is knifing me in the back all the while. Never again!

Need to find another Doctor, any recommendations ?

The best doctor around is Dr Nicholas Angelastro and of course now he’s gone and i wasn’t even notified that he was leaving or referred to another doctor. This is crazy. This is the now 3rd time Maxhealth has done this in recent years. Such a shame that these doctors were put in a position to not be honest with their patients.

Dr Angelastro took the time with me to truly understand my pre-existing conditions and helped answer every question I had about my current health. Not only is he knowledgeable, he explains everything in a way that makes it easy to understand. He has true concern for his patients and their best interest! He also has a phenomenal staff! I highly recommend Dr. Angelastro!

I was seen by Dr. Angelastro and I have to say it was one of the best doctor's visits I had. Dr. Angelastro is professional, extremely knowledgeable and has a wonderful bedside manner. I would highly recommend him to any one. 5 STARS

I am in Sarasota 19 years. First time in all these years I am impressed by my Family Physician. Not much talk, straight to the point and, most importantly, - concerned about his patient... This man has a big heart, his staff is more than fast responsive.. THEY CALLED ME TO ASK HOW I WAS FEELING, and suggested to go through some more tests to better know my health problem. 5 STARS, no doubts.

Went in with high blood pressure, which he was “treating”, and a sore throat. Told him I was having difficulty breathing. Never checked my heart or lungs. Came back two days later at his request to check my blood pressure cuff with his. Mentioned I was still having chest pain and difficulty breathing. Asked why I was not checked last time I was there. Nurse said if I wanted him to check I would have to pay for another office visit. Told her maybe he should know I wanted him to lusten but thought I should not be charged again for something he did not do when he should have. She said he was very busy. I was only person there. He was doing paperwork. He came waddling out of his office yelling “I have been listening to you yapping and you need to get out of my office.” Most unprofessional person and a serious danger to his patients. Look him up thoroughly before making the mistake of trusting him.
