Dr. Nicholas John Fitzsimons, MD

My first appointment with Dr Nicholas Fitzsimons was great. I had being seeing an urologist in FL and when I moved to Charlotte my urologist told me to follow up with another urologist. The staff was great, very friendly and best of all I didn't have to wait a long time. When the MA called me back and took my BP she said Dr Fitzsimons will be in shortly and he did, didn't have to wait a long time for the Dr to come in at all! He addressed my problem to the point, Great bedside matters, and I was very satisfied with Dr Fitzsimons. I would recommend Dr Fitzsimons 100%!

I was refered to Dr. Fistzsimons from the Pineville CMC after going to the emergency room for a kidney stone. They called him and after viewing my scan and knowing that it was too large to pass, he told them to give me pain meds and wait until the next week to see him at the office. I had lithotripsy which was not successful and left me to follow up with nurse practitioner. After hurting so badly, I had to find another urologist to complete my care. They only have two doctors who spend a lot of time in surgery, where they make the money and then they leave you to staff to follow up or not follow up in my case. It takes a week to see anyone, was told to go to emergency room if pain go too bad. I ended up paying for two emergency room visits and had 3 cat scans and 3 x-rays. Go to Carolina Urology and see Dr. Matthews if you need a real neurologist who will care for you and follow up. When I complained to staff, they were defensive and said that they were giving me adequate care. I have… never had a doctor's office treat me or any family member this way!
