Dr. Nicholas Gammello, PhD

I have worked with Mr. Gammello and found him to be very professional and helpful.

My husband at the time pressured me into seeing this man even though I was already seeing a female counselor in his office. I had bought the book Why Does He Do That, the female counselor liked it so much she bought copies for everyone in the office but Nick. We were separated but told we had to date but no sex even if I wanted it. Well I was raped and at the next appointment said there had been a violation of the no sex, I had been abused so didnt go into details. Nick asked no questions just went on as usual. The female counselor helped me write what to say at my next appointment to end the sessions which I did. I had a friend waiting outside in her car to take me out of town so my now ex couldn’t find me.

10 years after seeing this professional I’m still trying to recover.The MN Board of Psychology report regarding my abuse by this therapist is all told by the therapist’s side, all in his words. 10 years later no true apology and just a document that victim blames. I sought therapy and needed help and left with PTSD and my therapist lied to the state board about me. I wish I could post he apologized was sincere and has changed his ways, please be careful.

Still trying to recover from the trauma he inflicted.

I have found Dr. Gammello to be an excellent psychologist. He has helped me immensely.

Down to earth, caring and compassionate. Took genuine interest in my problems and offered good insight. Wish I didn't live so far away, would like to see him and thank him for helping me through the roughest years of my life.
