He took all the time to explain what he was going to do to fix my husband's torn retina. He made sure he was comfortable and understood what he was doing. Has great bed side manners. He said his sight would come back and it has only be 24 hours but my husband can tell his sight is coming back. Thank you

I've been seeing this doctor for years, he has helped me keep my vision. His staff is always so helpful and nice. I recommend anyone to go see them for any eye emergency if they want to be taken good Care of

I had surgery for a detached retina in 2004. I arrived at the office at ten AM and was seen at three PM. Surgery resulted in scar tissue in the eye and nerve damage around the eye. I have since had eye surgery to have the scar tissue removed. I had injections in the back of my head for three years to help control the pain. I finally had my occipital nerve severed to stop the pain in my head. The underlying problems are still there but with the nerve severed the message doesn't get to the brain. I cannot sleep on my left side without being nauseated or dizzy. Did I mention I had a stroke during surgery that all my doctors ignored?

Excellent doctor and staff. They were able to make my appointment quickly. They spent a lot of time with me at every stop answering all of my questions. Never felt rushed along. Currently see him about every 6 weeks for treatment and enjoy every visit with the doctor and his staff!

We see him at the Greenwood office and wait times are absolutely ridiculous. In 6 visits: 1 time we waited more than 2 hours, 2 times we waited 1 1/2 hr or more, 2 times approx an hour. I really don't know what this guy's problem is, but we are actively looking for a replacement opthalmologist because of the unconscionable wait times.

I was with the Dr. for 3 minutes when a staff member came in a whispered to the Dr., he turned and walked out the door, no explaination. The staff member came back and said they dont take my insurance go to the front. They said the visit was over because my insurance was not one the honored. A month later I got a bill for $1000.00, One thousand dollars, I called the office and the office manager said pay the bill or else. I have never gotten a diagonosis or any medical explaination just a bill for office visit for $1000.00.

1991. 40-50% blindness in left eye caused by detached retina. Within hours (I had to get to the hospital first) was seen by Dr. Hrisomalos. Surgery was at about 1AM. Left hospital in the afternoon. Recovery of a few months, followups were great, no problems.Nice guy, never seemed rushed. No complaints by me at all. Currently (almost 20 years later) 20/20 vision in both eyes (after Lasix). Worth every penny.
