Dr. Nicholas Robert Kunio, MD

Dr Kunio is a very knowledgeable adept surgeon I chose him for my robotic hernia repair excellent very personable very caring I would trust him explicitly with any future needs

I met Dr. Kunio in the ER. He was on call and performed emergency surgery on me. He explained everything to my husband and I. He was great coming in every morning and spent time with me each day I was in the hospital. The follow up appointments have been great too. He spends plenty of time with you and answers all your questions. His staff was professional and friendly. I would certainly recommend Dr. Kunio to my family and friends.

I went to ER as I was having very bad stomach pains, after the CT scan was done the ER dr called the surgeon on call who happened to be Dr. Kunio. He explained everything to my husband and I and answered all our questions. and said surgery needed to be done ASAP. I am so grateful Dr. Kunio was the surgeon on call that night. After surgery I was in the hospital for 5 days. I absolutely had no pain afterwards. Dr. Kunio is a very caring doctor and explained and answered all my questions. Dr. Kunio made me feel at ease during his hospital visits. His bedside manner is great. He took his time with me. My follow up care at his office was great. The staff was friendly. I needed to have staples removed and Dr. Kunio made me feel at ease and the staple removal was painless. If I or anyone needs surgery I will 100% recommend Dr. Kunio. He is a terrific doctor.

I had surgery by Big Nick after he insisted it was necessary or else I was in serious peril. It ended up being baloney. He botched the surgery and put me on the beach for 7 months. Don't let him touch you. I fully expect to have this post deleted because he somehow gets all negative ratings deleted.

Dr. Kunio specializes in minimally invasive and robotic surgical cases. Our family thinks he is an awesome surgeon, with a very detailed and organized approach, and yet one that is relatable for the patient. His surgical skills are exceptional, as is his bedside manner. We will not hesitate to recommend him in the future.

Unfortunate enough to have my gallbladder act up one night and had to go to the ED. Dr. Kunio was called and immediately made me feel more comfortable. I was nervous about surgery but he provided me with the right information and it put my mind at ease. Surgery went extremely smoothly and I was home the next day. Couldn't have been happier considering I had to have surgery!

I was referred to Dr Kunio by a friend, who had a wonderful experience and they were right! I got an appointment quickly, Dr Kunio took time to explain what was going on with my gallbladder and answered all my questions about surgery. He got me scheduled soon after my appointment and the recovery has been pretty easy. Couldn't be happier with the whole process.

Dr. Kunio was thorough and caring. I was scared about having surgery but he helped explain the entire process to me and helped me to feel at ease. Surgery went perfectly! I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
