Dr. Masciotra took exceptional care of my elderly aunt. He was gentle, kind, understanding and very attentive to her condition. He felt comfortable and consoled in a beautiful office environment. You were uplifted by the many inspirational photos and quotes, so nicely framed on the walls of his exam rooms. He gave her the comfort that she needed and made the rest of her life much easier for her. I cannot thank him enough for his kindness.

Dr. Masciotra is an ace in his field. When I was in my early 20's, I suffered a hearing loss due to a skull fracture & if it were not for his expertise in his field & his abilities to recongnize the technology of the equipment in the hospital vs. the symptoms I was having due to my injuries, I would not be standing here today. He is extremely thorough & extremely qualified. His confidence is apparent when he talks to you about your diagnosis & your options. Some 20 years later, although I no longer live in the Johnstown area, I still drive 2 hours to have follow up appointments with him as I respect him tremendously. He is a huge asset to the Johnstown area & the team of doctors at the UPMC hospital group.

Best in the Johnstown area, best bedside manner, cares for his patients, very easy to talk to, great bedside manner, excellent surgeon ( have had 2 surgeries by him), highly recommend.

The best ear, nose, and throat physician in the Johnstown area as far as I'm concerned. I have seeing Dr. Masciotra since the early 1980's.
