He is by far the best physician I have ever met

Dr. Mascoli was my primary care doctor for almost 10 years but I decided to switch when the care degraded. I had been seeing him once a year for physicals and he suggested seeing me once every 2 years for and performing blood work every time or once every 4 years. Other factors weighing in on my decision included his reluctance to prescribe a medication due to cost. He told me the medication was too costly, not for me as I would pay a 10 dollar copay but he was incentivized to prescribe a less costly yet far less effective option. His decisions seem to have been driven by costs and how he was incentivized rather than dong what was right for me. Since switching doctors, the experiences could not be more different.

Listens carefully and never seems to rush an appointment. Explains everything very carefully.I would hightly recommend him.
