Best Doctor ever

Very rude, and makes money by leaving us without medication.

We have been with Dr. Stamat for 21 years, couldn't have a better pediatrician for my boys. When my son had appendicitis two years ago, he recommended the best surgeon and has helped us find a great primary doctor for myself and my husband. He has seen my boys through childhood illness, sports injuries, surgeries, concussions... we have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to see him, always makes sure to see the kids even if he has to stay late in the office. Hoping he is still practicing when my boys get married and have kids of their own!

Wait time is always less than 5 minutes. My kids love him :)

I switched to him after I moved and the first visit he was not so pleasant. He is not kid friendly and neither is his dumb blonde staff. They book apptments with attitudes and they don't greet you when you walk into the office. He hardly listens to your concerns and rushes you out the room. After my second visit I was done with this place. I found a new doctor and when I asked for my child's records to be sent to the new doctor he refused and told me I would have to pay $35 cash! Not to mention when I got there the idiot receptionist handed me my child's file and told me I was opted out already in which I never signed a paper to do so. Overall this was the worst doctors office I had ever visited. Word to the wise do not go to him. These other reviews are friends of his.

Dr. Stamat has been my son's doctor since he born and he's 7 years old now. He is very accurate in his diagnosis and treatment every time, he knows what he is doing and has lots of experience. He's probably not the kind a pediatrician that talks sweet to the childrens, but he's not rude at all. If you're the kind of person that wants a good diagnosis and be out of the office fast this is the doctor for you. I strongly recommend Dr.Stamat,

I have 2 daughters; one is 22 and the other is 17 years old. My oldest has been going to Dr. Stamat since she was a newborn and if she wasn't too old, she would still prefer to go to him. My 17 year old will be going for her sports physical next week. He's a great doctor and I've been very pleased. With people saying that he's rude, he has a different sense of humor but I would never say rude. My kids and I love him. Easy to make an appointment too.
