I had an excellent experience. I can say, no other doctor (and I see many at Cedars) takes the time to listen, explain and be as empathic as Dr. Szumski. He offers options for care, explaining the differences. He sees me as a whole person and how my other medical issues may or may not interact with my neurological issues he's treating. He has a fantastic bed side manner, he's extremely knowledgable about the newest medications and treatments for me. I wish all my doctors were like him.

Dr. Szumski is the best explainer of difficult concepts. He takes the time to help us understand these things, and our discussions feel friendly and conversational which makes it easy to discuss difficult or embarrassing things. He's been tremendously helpful and we're very glad to get to see him.
