Dr. Tranakas did surgery on me in 2006 to removed a mass in my left clavicle. He's the most kind and caring doctor I have ever met. Planning on seeing him soon. Hopefully, he takes my new insurance.

I have been a patient of Dr Tranakas for four years now. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014, and was referred to him by my Ob-Gyn. I had also heard from several other doctors, as well as other patients, that he is the very best surgeon in Ft Lauderdale. Their words are very true. He has a very calm personality, and has never caused any pain or discomfort for me regarding the lumpectomy I had, or for my follow-up appointments. He took the time to explain everything I was going to encounter prior to the time of surgery. I will continue to go to him, and I will wait hours just to see him for my situations. Because of Dr Tranakas's expertise, kindness and gentleness with me, I recommend him, and have already, to other patients.

explained everything in detail that I could understand and gave me time to ask questions and process everything through the whole process. And didn't mind that my sister was there to help me. Wonderful Dr and staff.

Wait time varies...However, when he does get to you he never rushes and lets you ask all your questions

I loved this Doctor, he was sensitive to my needs. I was scared and confused about my possible diagnosis, his staff and himself were just wonderful. I was so grateful.

Doctor was very rude, very rush, no knock on the door before enter. Rush through appointments. Very inpatient to address my concerns on surgical day. No clear instructions provided regarding the post-surgical care. I had to figure out how to care for myself when there was surgical string coming out of my wound (it wasn't supposed to show). The person in the bill department is extremely rude when they messed up my insurance verification. It's a nightmare.

Dr. Tranakas seems like a highly capable, awesome doctor. I wouldn't know, unfortunately--his staff has been so rude, incompetent, and unprofessional I haven't even been able to make an appointment to speak with him.

There is NONE better. You know he is the best, when all the nurses go to him.....and they take their mothers!!! He is one of the few who actually reads and examines your films. Doesn't depend on just the radiology report. He saved my life and the lives of countless others. And in response to the person who received a $600.00 bill, maybe you need better insurance.

My 87 yr old mother has stage 2 melanoma and her Doctor referred her to this office. She was told she would have to wait a month. She then called her Dr back who in turn called the office himself and had gotten an earlier appointment for her as it was urgent. The day of her visit, the office called to say there was an emergency and she'd have to come in the following day. The next day she gets ready for her appointment but calls to see if he's running on time and she's told that he isn't in the office she was supposed to go to but in an office 30 min away. She was hysterical crying telling them she can't get to that office, it is too far to drive and asked why they didn't tell her his location and asked when is tgere availability. She was told next month. What kind of staff does this Dr have that they play with someone's life? Not a care about a human being!! Horrible staff, incompetent and they're idiots!! If it has spread, it will be their fault. I will be filing a complaint… about the office staff and how they have disregarded my mother. Did they treat her like garbage because she's 87? The woman has more intelligence in her pinky than they have in their brain. Can't leave a review about the Doctor because she will be seeing another Oncologist but, he has the worst staff ever when it comes to the life of another person. They should not be working in the Medical field and should not be working with people. These women should be on the unemployment line!!
