Dr. Nicholas Tullo, MD

Dr. Tullo is truly the best doctor I've seen (and I've seen a lot!) He has absolutely wonderful bedside manner and takes time to listen to his patients. He picked up on symptoms that were dismissed or missed by other doctors for years, made sure I had the right tests done, and took the time to help me get an accurate diagnosis. Despite being a cardiologist, he looked at the whole body and all symptoms in totality which is not very common in my experience when seeing a specialist. He was great about educating me on my condition - providing me with literature and things I could read - and gave me practical ways I could improve my quality of life and control my symptoms. Thanks to Dr. Tullo for being awesome - we need more doctors like him in this world!

Initially, I chose to see Dr. Tullo strictly because he was one of the few cardiologist in the tri-state area that specializes in POTS. I drove in from out of state to see him. I was incredibly happy with my experience. Everyone in the office was professional and friendly. I never felt rushed and was pleasantly surprised how long my initial appointment was. He is incredibly knowledgeable and one of the first doctors I've visited that really took the time to listen, talk with me about my symptoms, and how to best address them. He explained everything and gave reasoning for his suggestions. He reviewed my test results and made sure every question I had was answered before I left. Overall, it was worth the commute and I would unconditionally recommended him.

I went to him because of so many positive comments I had read on the medical chat boards. I was not disappointed. He spent a great deal of time reviewing my past records. Then he actually listened to me. He spent more time than any other doctor I ever saw before, and then he knew exactly what the problem was. His plan seems to be working -- I feel much better now. Dr. Tullo is terrific!

NOT fine! My mother has been seeing Dr Tullo for months after valve replacement and suffering a-fib.. it's been a terrible recovery. She has called his office many times and seen him with a fast pulse and out of breath. He kept telling her she was fine. They performed testing on her and sent the results to the house.. which was terrifying! not only did it not look good.. but unless you are versed in cardiology terminology, it's all terrifying anyway. Not one person from the office called her to go over it.. very disappointing. She finally saw someone else and is hopefully now on the right path to recovery.

Diagnosed me with mild dysautonomia/pots only doctor who diagnosed it that I found in New Jersey. Was worth the wait. Great guy awesome

Dr.Tullo is always well prepared (has reviewed my medical history) and is friendly and explains with clarity and brevity. Much appreciated! 87 year old patient with a variety of problems.

Dr. Tullo is self absorbed and rude. Minutes into our first meeting, he proceeded to do a physical evaluation and commented "nice top" regarding my bra. I was so stunned that I didn't say anything, which I regret. To add insult to injury, he told me that my medical condition wasn't "impressive" (aka not worth his time), gave me a steroid, and sent me on my way. Useless. Do NOT waste your time.

Doctor Tullo has wonderful bedside manner and gave me feasible strategies to help me cope with my autonomic issue. Highly recommended.

When I first saw Dr. Tullo I was very unhappy, and depress. For many years I was suffering from Syncope.I met him in the hospital and he took the time to listen to me.I use too pass out 3 or 4 times at day. he gave me the right medications. And today I only pass out between 1 or 3 a week.Thank you Dr. Tullo for helping me you are a great Dr.

Definitely worth the wait. Dr. Tullo is a heart rhythm doctor and a nationally known specialist in fainting (my problem). He was able to make many suggestions and helped a great deal. He was thoughtful and spent extra time because of all the questions my husband and I had. Follow ups have been great -- my problem is improved, which is great news.
