Dr. Nicholas Andre Wessling, MD

On July 8,2026 Upon entering the NY Orthopedic Scarsdale office I was greeted by Shania. Shania was extremely polite and professional and registered me for my appointment with Dr. Nicholas Wessling. In less than five minutes was escorted to my exam room by Rizzi who is a Medical Assistant. Rizzi reviewed the purpose for my visit and verified that it is my left foot that Dr. Wessling was going to be examining and what if any procedures I had on my foot. I was then met with Carla the X-ray tech. Carla then helped me to walk to the X-ray department. I have had many X-rays over the past 8 years. Carla is the most professional of all the technicians I have worked with. Carla is extremely, patient, kind , caring, thoughtful and compassionate tech I have had the pleasure to take care of me. Carla helped me remove my walking boot. Then Carla physically helped me to get in the four various positions that she needed so that she could take all of the X-rays ordered by Dr. Wessling. … Upon completing taking the X-rays, Carla patiently helped put on my boot and then Carla walked me back to my exam room. Carla has exceeded all of my expectations for my interaction with a X-ray technician. In less than five minutes Dr Wessling entered my examination room. Then Dr Wessling began reviewing my X-rays and explained the results to my wife and me. Then Dr. Wessling began his physical examination of my bunion and hammertoe surgery/repair. My wife and I had numerous questions concerning the surgery , the recovery and any thing I did need to continue for me to continue do to heal properly. Dr. Wessling was extremely patient in answering all of our questions and was extremely thorough in his detailed instructions. My wife and I felt extremely confident and pleased with Dr. Wessling’s explanations. I highly recommend Dr Wessling for any orthopedic foot surgery that anyone may need. I also highly and with complete confidence recommend Dr Stephen Nicholas for any knee surgeries including full knee replacement like he performed on me. Dr Nicholas also performed a full reverse shoulder replacement on me as well. I highly recommend Dr David Matusz for and orthopedic spine surgery needed. Dr. Matusz performed spinal fusion on me that eliminated severe back pain I had been experiencing for over forty years. With complete confidence I highly recommend the NY Orthopedic Medical Group for any and all of your orthopedic surgery needs. Each surgeon that has performed major surgery on me has continually EXPRESSED any and all of my EXPECTATIONS.

Just had my first appointment with Dr. Westing. Awesome Dr. Easy going and down to earth. Explained things thoroughly and spent ample time with me to meet my needs. I've worked in healthcare for nearly 4 decades so I'm very aware that not all doctors are created equal. Dr. W. is a keeper. The support staff is pretty amazing too. Prompt, polite and friendly.

I waited less than 15 minutes for the doctor including time to get an x-ray. Dr. Wessling thoroughly examined my hand and knew exactly what was wrong. Highly recommend!

Listened closely to my concerns, agreed with my “let’s wait to see if an expensive test is called for” attitude, and made thoughtful substantive suggestions to manage the issue.

Dr. Wessling repaired a previous Liz frank fracture surgery that had gone wrong. He throughly explained what he would do to correct the problems. He was warm and friendly and very knowledgeable on what needed to be done. Excellent job and lovely staff.
