Dr. Nichole Butler Mooyoung, MD

Dr. Nicole Butler is one of the most personable, professional GYN I have meet. Not only did she make me feel comfortable, but my concerns also mattered. I didn't feel rushed or ignored, quite the contrary, she said, "tell me what's going on". I'm so happy I found Dr. Nichole Butler and I will drive wherever she is for her services. Thank you so much for your advice!

I never write reviews, but wanted to give people some advice before choosing this ob! I chose Dr. Butler upon the great reviews she had. My longest appointment must have been 5 mins. She is not thorough at all. I am a first time mom, and 7 months pregnant. My last visit she didn’t ask if I had questions. She listened to baby’s heartbeat, and told me to make an appointment and left the room. She’s not approachable, and makes it seem like you are working for her! Has that demeanor where she seems tired of her job. No compassion. Every visit u get a different mood. No one needs to deal with that while in labor! I did not feel like she would provide best care at time of delivery. I did not feel comfortable having her deliver my baby. She was an added stress with all the anxiety and nervousness that comes with nearing labor date.

I wanted to like Dr. Butler Moo-young. I wanted to trust her. I was so happy to have a doctor that looked liked me. She seemed to know her stuff and made me feel comfortable. Unfortunately, she did not do her job thoroughly, which resulted in me going into premature labor losing my Daughter. It was my first pregnancy and I did not know what to expect. If only she would’ve measured my cervix at all appointments. I was high risk and she did not know it. I needed close monitoring and that did not happen. Now, I am stuck dealing with the mental pain and exhaustion of losing a child.

I am 21 and I went to see Dr. Butler-Mooyoung to get an IUD. I was so nervous and apprehensive about the whole thing but she really calmed me down and helped distract me during the insertion. She is the best physician I have had! Her nurses are also very warm and caring.

She's is an excellent doctor, she's caring and professional, and a lovely person. I love this doctor!!

I just met Dr. Nichole Butler for the first time. This is my first pregnancy and I am bit afraid of the whole process. I think that Dr. Butler is a nice person but all about routine. I feel that she rushes you and does not take out time to get to know you. She seems as though she is always in a rush. I take off work to see her and it seems as though it is a waste of time. I was referred to her by two people and I feel like that she does not cater to me or does not even want to get to know me. She never prepared and she never has any records or files in front of her when she comes in the room. The first day she gives me a packet regarding pregnancy and tells me to read it. Then she goes over vitals, and any questions I may have. But everything is quick and straight to the point. She talks fast and always seems as though she does not have time for me. I am feeling neglected and not well taken care of. I have been getting infections over and over again and wondering why, but I get… no answer. I just feel she lacks bedside manners and has too many patients that she cannot take time with a person she has met for the first time. I feel that she take time with a person that has their very first pregnancy ever and that you have never met before. Yes, it is good to be smart, intelligent, resourceful and knowledgeable, but at the same time, show some respect, kindness, be caring and thoughtful and empathetic. I have seen her at least 3 times and each time has been a rush.

I went to 4 different doctors with a problem and none of them question my misdiagnoses until i went for another onion which was dr. Butler. She was recommended by a friend. She took the time to talk to me and do an exam. When i went to previous doctors and told them what i was diagnosed, none if them questioned it or did an exam. They just told me i would be fine...

I actually started seeing Dr. Butler during my first pregnancy. I switched to her because the other doctors bedside manner was not so great. I also switched from Evergreen to Orland Park because the nurses as well as other the office workers were not as great. Dr. Butler is caring, her nurse followed up promptly with test results. My first delivery she was not on staff that day; but, she came in anyway to assist me with my delivery. I have referred numerous friends and they have experienced the same professional, knowledgeable behavior as well.

Dr Butler has a beautiful smile and is probably a nice person. I do not think she is a good doctor. First of all, I waited over 1 hour after my scheduled appt and then an additional hour sitting in the room to see her. I was in her office with a blood pressure reading that should have landed me in ER, however she didnt make any comments or suggestions, simply stated the reading. My fist visit with her was like meeting with a friend to discuss my concerns with fibroids. The second visit was like meeting a completely different person who had wrong information about my visit. After informing her that I had no idea what she was refering to, clearly she had not read my chart before very briefly meeting with me. She left the room, returned to only repeat what she said during my previous visit. It all happened so quickly and she left the room after suggesting that I schedule anohter appointment. I have no plans on ever returning and wasted so much time. I would NOT recommend Dr. Butler to… anyone until she learns how to listen and care more about patient's total health and not give some "rushed" comments not to mention charges to insurance company. You have been warned and after reading other comments, I am not alone on the exact experiences.

My first appointment with Dr. Butler was as an older patient who had already has already raised a family. Dr. Buter shows concern and kindness and makes me feel totally as ease, not an easy task for an OB/GYN. She is sweet, kind, and most importantly, knowledgeable about her field. I would give Dr. Butler the highest recommendation as a physician. The only complaint I have with the office is that it takes about four months to get an appointment.
