Dr. Nicola Cecilia Chin, MD

It has been a few years, when Dr. Chin was in her previous practice - however, I wanted to review her and let everyone know that she is an excellent pediatrician. She always took the time to talk with us and answer all of our questions. She was great with our daughter and was always available after-hours. One time I called the CHOA nurse line and they connected me to her and she gave me her cell phone number in case things did not improve that evening. Most importantly, we transferred to her and she figured out what was going on with our daughter, which the previous pediatrician had always attributed to "daycareitis." That was the previous doctor's "technical term" for our daughter being sick so much and having to be treated for pneumonia several times per year. During our FIRST visit with Dr. Chin, she recognized that our daughter had seasonal allergies and when she prescribed periodic breathing treatments, everything cleared up. We no longer spent so much time at the Pediatric… Urgent Care center and our daughter was so much more comfortable. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Chin for figuring this out for us!

Dr. Chin made assumptions that were incorrect. Be wary about her perceptions about parents and their children.

Not too impressed. She was very curt. Another lady in the office was too.

Dr. Chin seemed knowledgeable but her staff was incompetent. Her office manager? kept mispronouncing our last name and got her files mixed up several times. Subsequently I left for another doctor.

Dr. Chin is a excellent physician. She take great pride in our children well being. My child is comfortable with her. She takes her time and talk to the parent and child.

Great doctors, all of them. I will not take my children anywhere else!!
