Dr. Nicole Lynn Carlson, MD

Could not recommend a better Obstetrician. Dr. Carlson is VERY thorough and goes above and beyond for her patients!

Dr carlson was my obgyn through 4 pregnancies and 3 deliveries. We loved her so much that we went out of network (after our insurance changed) in order to stay with her for the birth of our youngest child. Dr carlson is so incredibly thorough and caring. I left each appointment with all of my questions answered, never rushed. She calmed my anxieties throughout pregnancy and delivery. I truly cannot say enough about her. Our community is at a loss without her expertise, and I have yet to find a doctor with her level of knowledge and rapport.

Dr. Carlson is the best doctor I have ever had. Her office staff is extremely helpful and friendly and you can genienuly tell they enjoy working for her. I’ve been seeing her for years and credit her for going above and beyond to find out exactly why I suddenly miscarried at 15 weeks. Not only was she compassionate - she personally called me the next day to see if I was ok, but she also ordered blood work for me that went above and beyond the norm. A friend of mine had to see a specialist to get the same level of service I received from Dr. Carlson. Not only is she down to earth and friendly, but she is a highly skilled doctor. I was disappointed to hear that’s she is leaving my area, but I would highly recommend her to anyone!

I am currently 17 weeks pregnant. And at the beginning of my pregnancy I started with Amy Shannon at Jameson Hospital, I felt completely uncomfortable with her and the care I was receiving. I switched to Dr Carlson and she has been so supportive and caring thru out my pregnancy! She has answered every question I have to ask her no matter how long it takes (I write lists of ?s till my next appt to go over with her!) she never tries to rush me either. I have recently had complications and her office was closed on that day and she still met me at her office just so I didn't have to wait all day at the hospital to be seen! I love her, her staff and the care I have received and would recommend her to anyone!

I would NOT recommend Dr. Carlson to anyone. My wife had a complex issue creating lots of extra pain in her pregnancy and Dr. Carlson withheld information that could have helped us address the issue. Instead, she told us to wait and return the next week. Instead of explaining what was happening, she withheld the information, forced us to wait for lack of knowledge as to what was going on, and the next week she revealed the happenstance that we were unable to act on. On a separate occasion, Dr. Carlson had to leave the office during our appointment time due to another person going into labor. She left the office and we rescheduled the appointment but she still charged us for "medical services." When I objected, the billing group informed me that Dr. Carlson refused to remove the charges from our account because a nurse practitioner had seen us. But the nurse practitioner had only seen us long enough to explain why Dr. Carlson had to leave. We received no "medical services."

Dr. Carlson is a great physician who really cares about her patients. Takes the time to make sure I understand everything we talk about. Her staff truely works hard to be sure I'm happy and ready for the Dr. 100% recommended.

She seems rushed and doesn't spend enough time with you. I was called and asked if I could move my scheduled appointment to a different time because one of the staff had scheduled me during the doctors lunch. Another time my info was placed under another patient's file (same last name as me).

dr. carlson is by far a blessing to have as a doctor. she has been more compassionate and caring than i could have ever asked for. her office is incredibly quick to respond and always there to help. a great ex. is just today i called bc i was worried from lack of movement of my baby (first child, 20weeks pregnant) her office called me back literally less than a minute from me calling. saw me as soon as i got there, and she rushed straight to the ultra sound to put me at ease. she then told me she would rather me come in and let her check than for me to worry. she then scheduled me to come back a week later just to reassure me my baby was ok. she has absolute amazing bedside manner and truly is a blessing to have as a doctor. i feel i really can not praise her enough and there really should be more doctors out there like her. she will most definitely be my ob/gyn forever! she is amazing! anyone looking for a doctor will not be disappointed w/ her!!!

Ive seen many doctors in my day. Dr. Carlson is the best listner I've ever met. She deserves a prize.

Dr. Carlson spends time with each patient and answers all your questions. In the delivery room she is very calm and takes charge. My experience was excellant!
