This review is based solely on the scheduling conflicts and assistants only: I created an annual checkup appointment with Dr. Dolan's office in early February. When I called, they didn't accept annual checkups until as far out as April. No issue - I accepted that April appointment and scheduled it. Then I had a scheduling assistant call me in March to reschedule that appointment, which pushed back mine by almost a month (5/16). Fast forward to current - I have an actual issue that I was waiting and hoping to speak to my gynecologist about. This is a very personal issue and I wanted to talk to MY doctor that I felt most comfortable with, Dr. Dolan. I called the office yesterday (4/10) to attempt to get an earlier appointment, but was I told nothing was available until June. I was also told that I could make an appointment with the nurse instead, but should her capabilities be surpassed by my need then I'd need to also see Dr. Dolan. Because of… that point, I asked if I could schedule an appointment with the nurse and maintain my current slot with Dr. Dolan. If the slot with Dr. Dolan should no longer be needed, I'd cancel that appointment with Dr. Dolan. The scheduler said that it was against their policy to allow patients to have 2 appointments open. Based on that, I decided to maintain my 5/16 appointment. As of this morning (4/11), a scheduler called me and asked to have the 5/16 appointment rescheduled, and also mentioned that they have no open availability until July. So what appears to be happening is that they are not honoring their current patients appts, and I'm not sure if Dr. Dolan is even aware of this! She's a fantastic doctor and I'm livid at how I am being treated. My needs are there, and I can't find a doctor to even see me unless I go to urgent care? What if my current condition is a diagnosis of cancer? I find it horrid that I'm getting bypassed in this process because this scheduler sees my "annual checkup" as less of a priority to Dr. Dolan's other patients. This is not right. Someone needs to fix this.
