I had two appointments scheduled, they were cancelled, not by me. Appointments reappeared with an original later date and mysteriously cancelled again. Then I received a call from 'Beth', on behalf of Dr. Miller's office, midway conversation, the cutoff. Calling the number back, it hangs up the call. Dr. Miller may be preeminent as a HoLEP surgeon, but there's more to talent and experience to consider her practice, it's called good communication.

My husband needed prostate surgery, and to make matters worse his bladder was in terrible shape. Dr. Miller performed HoLep, warning us that after the surgery there would be bleeding up to a couple of months and incontinence was to be expected for a couple of weeks or more. The surgery went very well, he had NO pain, and never had any incontinence. The bleeding was minimal, and after 5 days no bleeding at all. She is to the point and explains everything and answers all our questions. Her staff and the Vanderbilt Stone Center exceeded our expectations. The facility is as clean as anything I have ever seen and the staff (Shauna in particular) are friendly and very helpful. I'd give her ten stars if possible.

Dr. Miller an her staff are second to none. They are a 1st class, friendly and well oiled machine. I am currently 9 days HoLep post-op. Everything so far has been exactly as they said it would be. I have no regrets an would not hesitate to reccomend Dr. Miller and her wonderful staff to any friend or family member. We all know going to a hospital is never pleasent but the people at vanderbilt make it much more bearable than any I have ever seen. I have always used hospitals in Memphis before now but the difference in the care is like daylight an dark. I will gladly bare the extra miles to nashville if I have a choice.

I am a cancer patient, receiving treatment at Vanderbilt Hospital. I was referred to Dr. Miller by my Vanderbilt Radiologist to have a kidney stone removed. The day of my first appointment with Dr. Miller, she was nowhere to be found and her nurse could not find the scans from radiology. Her nurse refused my suggestion to call radiology to find the scans. On my second appointment, Dr. Miller made the appointment and she'd found the scans. She did eventually remove the kidney stone but failed to follow up, knowing that there was a severely restricted area in my ureter. She also failed to fill medication I requested twice (an anti-fungal powder). After about six weeks of hassles, attempting to contact Dr. Miller about a follow up and medication, I requested to be see at another Urology Clinic. Dr. Miller failed to follow up, even though she indicated there was a need to check my ureter, she failed to fill medication twice and failed to refer me to another clinic. She never… spoke with me regarding any of these issues. She does not work out of a permanent office. She never returned messages by phone or email like other Vanderbilt physicians. I have terminal prostrate cancer. The hassles of dealing with Dr. Miller and her nurse over one kidney stone were worse than any treatment experience I've experienced in four years of cancer treatment at Vanderbilt.

This urologist has a tremendous bedside manner and excellent treatment plan for kidney stones. After seeing several urologists, I finally found a Dr. who offered preventional treatment. Her nurse is exceptional as well.
