Dr. Nikhil Balakrishnan, MD

Dr Balakrishnan is very thorough - provides excellent attention to detail and listens patiently and provides excellent consultation. An exceptional neurologists and spends a lot of time to determine your medical issues to resolve symptoms and conditions. Highly recommended. His staffs are excellent and with exceptional follow through. He is generally concerned and goes beyond normal doctors protocol to explore all possibilities and multitude of exams and tests. Excellent neurologist & care.

This was a horrible experience. I came in with a diagnosis that he dismissed and he said to my husband that I think there is something wrong with me but that there is not. He referred me to a psychologist. However I found another neurologist and am getting help for my neurological condition now.

My husband and I have been pleased from day 1. Very thorough, interested and listened to my husband and I both. Treated his condition then and is now helping along with another Dr. a different condition. Has called, himself, to check on my husband at night several times and made extra trips to hospital after hours to see how he was doing and just to sit and talk about present condition and options. Genuinely cares for a cure but most of all for his patient and family.He has done much research to make sure my husband has the best chance for recovery possible. We feel blessed and greatful to find such a caring doctor. We would and have recommended Dr. Balakrishnan to our friends.

This was the most horrible experience I have ever had with a physician! He assessed me with out referring to my history, charts and MRI images. He told me i did not have what i was being assessed for but and gave me little assistance with helping me find answers. He was etremely impatient and not willing to listen to me. He dismissed me and my symptoms and actually asked me if my issues might just be psychological because that was a problem that could he could fix. I will never return to this facility and will discourage anyone else from visting too.

Some things are worth waiting for...this was not one of them!! After waiting two hours to see him, he spent ten minutes in the room checking my reflexes. He then cut me off when I tried to explain symptoms. He dismissed everything I said..told me nothing was related to the condition I went to see him for ..didn't know why I was having issues and told me to go see a neurosurgeon, maybe they can help me. He walked out and that was it. He made it very obvious that he didn't have time for me it my problems. I have never had a Dr dismiss me in thus way. The only positive was his assistant who did try to listen and his nurse who was friendly! I soul not recommend him to ANYONE.
