Dr. Nikola Lekic, MD

I sought treatment from Dr. Lekic for golfers elbow pain in both arms and Dupuytren's contracture in both hands. Dr. Nikola Lekic opted to perform surgery on my left elbow and hand simultaneously, which proved to be a mistake. The concomitant procedures hindered the effectiveness of physical therapy on my hand, given the persistent soreness in my elbow. The specific issues addressed were medial epicondylitis in my left elbow and Dupuytren's contracture in my hand. My primary goal was to alleviate the pain in my elbow and restore normal alignment to my pinky finger. Unfortunately, my left elbow did not improve, and my pinky finger failed to regain its straight position. Despite these setbacks, I considered undergoing a similar procedure for my right hand and elbow. Assuming that my left elbow needed more time to heal, I proceeded with right elbow surgery. Months later, during a follow-up with Dr. Lekic, I expressed my disappointment as there was no improvement in my pinky finger, and… both elbows still experienced significant pain. Shockingly, his response was, "that's unfortunate, would you like a cortisone shot?" I declined the offer. After seeing 5-star reviews, I initially believed I was consulting a reputable and skilled doctor, which unfortunately turned out not to be the case. Subsequently, I sought a second opinion from another specialist after obtaining new insurance. This specialist clarified that Dr. Lekic had not caused harm but had not undertaken sufficient measures to address the issues adequately. A whole year of healing was essentially wasted, and I now find myself needing to undergo the entire process again with another doctor. Regrettably, based on my experience, I strongly advise against choosing Dr. Lekic for your medical needs. Despite initially assuming my procedures were straightforward, the outcomes were disappointing, and I felt let down by the level of care provided.

Dr. Lekic is Absolutely wonderful. He discusses options thoroughly, and he is patient and kind. Every staff member at the Stuart office was so friendly. And the efficiency of the office is beyond compare. Highly recommend!

Cleveland Clinic Medical Center in Tradition FL assigned Dr. Lekic to my mothers case upon admission. For 3+ days my mothers pain was extreme and the ortho assigned Dr Lekic remained MIA for 3+ days. All we got was empty promises that he would have a family consult tomorrow. Tomorrow never came. After having conversations with the Hospitalist and other Dr.s assigned who all were excellent, it became apparent that we needed to switch Orthopedic Dr's. DR. Lekics PA was fially communicated with via the nurses. At best the conversation was confrontational.
