Dr. Nilesh R Jariwala, MD

I have 5 children, and I have been with Dr J (Jariwala) since 1991. He is amazing, well respected, and great with kids of all ages. Also we have a medically fragile child, and I always share information with specialists opinions to see if he agrees. Or has a better option or thoughts.

Dr. Jariwala is super sweet and attentive. However, his nurse who handles appointments, referrals etc is the most unprofessional women I ever met. She does not care about you child needs or specialist. She finds doing referrals too much work ( all though its her job). She is disrespectful. She does not get referrals done on time. If you child sees a specialist I would not suggest this doctor office. They not worried about you child and their special needs. They feel like them doing what they are suppose to do so you child can see their specialist is them doing you a "favor". If Dr. Jariwala got new staff it would be great because at one time he had a great nurse working there but now its just terrible. The nurse does not call you back because she usually is not doing what she suppose to be doing. So she will avoid you.

He has been my boys doctor since birth and even at 20 & 24 they do not want anyone else. He has such a caring and sincere bedside manner that every doctor should exhibit. He is on point with his diagnosis and follow ups. The office works well with him and their patients. If there is a wait at times it's well worth it!

I have been going to Dr J for 13 years with my 3 sons. He has always been wonderful and very thorough. Unfortunately his staff which seems to change a lot is not as wonderful. I took my 7 year old in 3 weeks ago seen the nurse practioner who said he had strep throat. A week later on amoxicillin he ran a temp took him back seen her again she said it was scarlet tinea switched the antibiotic. Two days later he was cover in a rash took him back seen her again was told it could be mono to have a blood test. The next day Sunday even worse took him to the ER. The blood test was done and was told the Dr needs to call the lab for results. I have called his office twice a day for 3 days and all Im told us the results are here but the Dr is busy. It is three days later no phone call no update on his results!!! I'm so disappointed when I really thought this was a good practice for the past 13 years. It takes 2 minutes to call me back. The staff seems to blame each other but still no… answers. Very disappointed!!!!!!

Dr.Jariwala is very nice, courteous and very experienced. My complaint is about the staff. Called in to check if we are due for appointment and was told "No". Then we needed refills for multi-vitamin drops and was asked to have the pharmacist call in for refills. The pharmacist left a VM on my phone saying my kid is due for appointment before any refills. When we called back the doctor office, the staff says that the kid is not due for appointment but we don't do refills without an appointment. Ridiculous. We always had refills done over a phone before this. She could have said this earlier when we called in first to check for an appointment to avoid all these confusions. Very disappointed. I hope Dr. would look into this and correct these silly mistakes. As far as the practice and the doctor, I am very satisfied.

I think he goes through a lot of staff and doctors . His nurse miss Jay is great but other member of his staff lack training . I also trusted him but after today trying to get an appointment for my daughter and was told he has no time to see her and bring her in as a walk in tomorrow . Really I've been with you for a 11 years and this is how you treat your patient . I proceeded to tell the receptionist I will be looking for a new doctor she said do what you have to

Dr J has exceptional bedside manners, listens carefully, is compassionate and is genuinely interested in the overall well being of of his patients (physical, developmental, emotional). I will always remember the time he took to talk to us and all our general concerns as first time parents. Oh and by the way my children loved going to Dr J too! I am saddened to see that parents that go to the practice looking forward to experience what I had the pleasure to experience in the past don't and meet a partner that doesn't do him justice. Unfortunately, the same reasons I decided to leave his practice. Dr Jariwala where are you?

I went into Dr. Jariwalas office and when I approached the secretary she was very kind and so was the nurse. When me and my son and his father entered the room I was surprised not to see Dr. Jariwala but his colleague. He was absolutely my worst nightmare. I just switched doctors to see Dr. Jariwala and his colleague was so rude off the bat. He was not kind to my son nor did he address my son and introduce himself. He was not very welcoming and he didnt even check my son for a physical. I had the tests that the gastro doctor had given to me and he was reading those results faster than you can turn on a switch. He was rude, unkind, unwelcoming and I left feeling worst than when I came in. It was a complete nightmare. I really just wanted to give him a peice of my mind, but my son was in the room so I just kept my bedside manners and temper together. I am looking forward to a Jariwala visit, I do not recommend his colleage at all.

have been bringing my children to him for 14 years. I trust his judgement.
