Dr. Nils Ake Nystrom

Dr. Nystrom is an excellent, understanding doctor! Our area is extremely lucky to have such an asset available when no one else can handle the job. Staff was professional & very courteous. Great job folks

Well, the first time I ever seen this guy, I did not get my problem, solved that could look into my swollen hand he was not unable to tell me why it was swollen and what it was caused from and there was basically nothing he can do. All he ordered was an mri and physical therapy to get the range. Of motion back in my fingers to where I could make a fist. That's stuff. I can do on my own so I wasn't too happy with what he had to say. I cannot say you would recommend him or not until further appointments. I believe, but as far as my first initial. I was not too impressed.

Dr Nystrom was very generous with his time and knowledge. He was respectful, fully listened, and he was honest about what he could and not do for me. AND he found a solution to a problem with my breathing (and as a result my trouble being heard when speaking) that I never could be solved! Very grateful to have met him and benefit from his expert wisdom and experience.

No other doctor has been able to correctly diagnose me for years until I met Dr. Nystrøm. The surgery I had was a success.

Dr Nystrom is definately one of the best in his field. We received outstanding care and professalism from him. We would recommend Dr. Nysteom to anyone...He's worth every minute of time and energy to get to him.

POOR experience. caused permanent damage due to unable to diagnose chronic inflammatory reaction due to permanent nerve cuff HE used during surgery kept telling us nothing was wrong after multiple trips to see him and decreasing movement due to WHOLE surgery coming apart. Does not listen to patient or parents.

I was diagnosed with "tennis elbow" in one arm and "golfer's elbow in the other." After about two years of excruciating pain and many other surgeons' inability to consider other diagnoses, I was seen by Dr Nystrom. He realized that I had entrapped nerves in addition to the tennis/golf elbow conditions. It was the irritated nerves which were causing the pain in my forearms and hands. After minor surgery to release the pressure on the nerves, I was able to do most of the activities I could before the injury occurred. This surgeon provides holistic, compassionate care and is probably the most competent doctor I've ever been treated by. Highly recommend.

I HAD BEEN TO NINE OTHER DOCTORS WHO WERE UNABLE TO HELP ME. DR. NYSTROM LOCATED THE AREAS WERE MY NERVES WERE DAMAGED, DID SURGERY AND HELPED MY PAIN. ALSO I GAINED MOBILITY AND A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE. GRADE A+
