Dr. Nina Rabin, MD

For the past 8 months I have been receiving faxes for customers of this office for prescriptions and physical therapy and such. I have about 1000. I’ve reported it to this office 8-10 times. They do not seem to care. Recently I requested to have the Dr Rabin call me. She has not. If you care about HIPPA and don’t want your personal info sent to the general public, I’d find a new doctor.

After reading other people's reviews, I thought this was the doctor for me. It wasn't.

I have been seeing Dr. Rabin for years, and I can count on her to help me when things get serious (or seriously confusing). She's knowledgable, and she takes the time to really listen to my concerns despite having a heavy patient load and packed schedule. Due to my poorly understood genetic disorder being diagnosed late in life, I sustained emotional trauma around physicians and medical settings. Dr. Rabin is the only doctor on my team that doesn't induce an anxiety attack with tachycardia on every visit! Dr. Rabin respects my personal knowledge regarding my condition, and she advocates on my behalf when needed. She takes my concerns seriously, and as a result we have filled in some blanks - leading us both to a better understanding of my issues and the best way to treat them. If I have a problem beyond her scope she promptly refers me to a specialist. The only thing that could be considered a negative about Dr. Rabin is that sometimes the wait to see her is long. You… can't have a doctor that truly listens without having occasional delays, though. When it is your turn you will be heard (even if she's running behind). TL;DR - Dr. Rabin is a wonderful doctor who listens and always does her best to help her patients!

I have been with Scripps for a long time, and have been rotated through doctors due to them leaving. She was my replacement doctor for a visit and I immediately requested her to be my regular Doc. She is kind, caring.... and listens to you vs. just diagnosing you off of your symptoms . She is FANTASTIC!

Takes time w/me and interested in what I'm doing for myself healthwise. Intuitive! On one visit unrelated to the problem, Dr. Rabin discovered I had shingles which was misdiagnosed the day before in Urgent Care. Another time, lab tests were skewed. She reordered same test w/2 different parameters. One lab was still incorrect (conflicting result). Have wonderful integrative drs. per her recommendations. Dr. Rabin will work w/me re supplements and tests I want. She's terrific - and very smart.

I have seen a few doctors in my life, perhaps something like 6. Dr. Rabin is very good at what she does. You may have to wait a while to see her but this is because she spends a good amount of time explaining all your issues and test results. Normally its like you wait 20 minutes to see a doctor for 5-10 minutes. With Dr. Rabin you wait maybe 30-45 minutes but she will spend literally like 20-30 monutes with you. So overall, I never feel rushed and she explains my results so I can understand them. I hope to have her as a doctor for a long time.

I cannot say enough about the excellent care I receive from Dr. Rabin. Yes, at times she runs a little late but this is only because she spends as much time as needed with her patients. She is never in a rush to finish an appointment. Dr. Rabin takes the time to ask questions and understand all of my health issues and has made recommendations that have greatly improved my overall health.

outstanding Dr. Had her for a decade. Liked her. Could not stand her nurse & staff. And I finally switched Dr's because I got tired of waiting 45 minutes or longer beyond my appt time to be seen. Our time also has some value! Her staff treats patients as a bother. Once I had a stye that was bothering me. Her stupid nurse offered me an appt for two weeks later. And when I called for a physical, I was given the 3rd degree as to why I wanted a physical. She wouldn't schedule me. So I hung up, called back three days later & lied that my toe hurt. When Dr. Rabin came in, she kind of laughed at my creativeness, physical was fine. Again, goes back to what I said about her staff, not the Dr. herself.

My mom died suddenly of a heart attack and it was found she had 100% blocked artery. She was a patient of Dr Rabin's. Although my mom had high cholesterol, high blood pressure and a history of smoking, never did Rabin think to look at these risk factors and take time to do some testing which would have save my mother's life. It would have been so simple to discover had she taken the time to care.
