Worst surgeon ever!

I had a growth on my leg, and had an outpatient procedure done to remove it. Dr Shintre was very accomodating and thorough with my surgery. It's only been three weeks, and I can hardly see my scar. Was told it was cancer, but Dr Shintre got it all and nothing further needs to be done. He is an amazing surgeon.!!

Dr. Shintre is a true professional, kind and very smart. A very good surgeon.

I saw him right after surgery and haven't seen him since. He sends in his associates which really do not want to talk to me. In fact one came in today and wouldn't even look at me or introduce himself. Very defensive

10 minutes before her surgery, he told me to my face that he would walk out and come get me from the waiting room. I waited in there for over 2 hours before going back to the nurses station to inquire about my wife's surgery. I found out she had been out of surgery for over an hour wondering where I was. The nurses were dumbfounded as Dr Shintre simply took off and left without coming to talk to me to let me know it was done and tell me how it went. He offered absolutely no excuse when I talked to him on the phone later, only a nonchalant "oh sorry about that". Despite it being a fairly routine procedure, I had been growing more and more nervous as each minute passed longer than it was supposed to.He removed her gall-bladder laproscopicly. Everyone said the pain afterwards would be nothing compared to her c-section that took place four months earlier. My wife described it as "100 times worse". The OBGYN that did her c-section was fantastic we know, but I don't think Dr. Shintre takes… his time. He got the job done but we felt like a slab of meat on a butcher's conveyor belt. We made the mistake of just letting the hospital choose our surgeon. Remember you have a choice. Shop around.
