Dr. Nivine Y El-Refai

This was the best experience I have had regarding dental care, I highly recommend anyone to Dr. El-Refai’s office, the staff was great & Dr El-Refai is extremely detailed oriented & she took the time to explain every single details of the procedure, it was basically pain free. I cannot thank Dr. El-Refai enough for a truly wonderful root canal experience. I still can't believe that I felt no pain from the beginning to the end. She is really unbelievably good. I highly recommend her as an endodontist. She saved my tooth which was in pretty bad shape.....I will always give her the highest recommendation I can to anyone I know who might need one too!!!

This was the best place I've been for a root canal procedure. Nivine and her assistant did a very good job on my procedure. Nivine explained the procedure and answered all my questions. Also, a comfortable and clean atmosphere with soothing background music and a nicely decorated waiting room.

This doctor makes you wait for hours before seeing you. Always putting "emergencies" before patients that have appointments. It's crazy. No apologies.

This is the worst dentist that i have ever had to deal with. The first tell us to bring in $169.00 and that the insurance wiuld cover the rest. So we pay that and a month later get a bill for $631. When we called anthem they stated that they never called in to get it verified and that it was the dentist fault. Ao when i call them back they get very rude and unethical with me about my account. They then proceed to tell me to send in money so the account does not go into collections. I send out a check the very next day for $100 and am waiting for the next bill a month later. The bill i got was actually from a collection agency stating that they have not received a payment. So i call and check with the office manager and she proceeds to tell me that they hadnt received it and would send it back if they received it. This tells me that they probably received the check and threw it away or something. So i call back the collection agencyand they proceed to tell me that i owe over… $900 now. So i now owe over $900 for something that they told me i wouldnt owe any l extra money besides the initial $169, i have dealt with several different people that claim they are new and dont know what they are talking about, an officer manager that is completely ruthless and unethical to patients, and a collection agency that is basically telling me they can send it to my credit report if i dont pay in full. I have a great credit score with no missed bills and i have to deal with an unethical medical organization that is ripping people off and talk to people like they could care less about them. We are from an hour away and this was the only dentist we could get into immediately and now i understand why. The good organizations are always busy. I can not stress enough not to use this firm unless you want to go throufh the same things we have dealt with. After reading review i can see that plenty of other people have dealt with the same thing with this dentist. A lesson learned in that i should have resd the reviews before we made an appointment.
