Dr. Nizar Nooruddin Ramzan, MD

Dr Ramzan is a wonderful doctor who is very caring & professional doctor ..He has helped me so much with my Motility and GERD !! Would want no other Gi !! He’s a great doctor !!

Dr Ramzan has done all my colonoscopies. He is totally professional, thorough and a kind doctor. I am scheduled for another check up with him, I wouldn't want any other doctor .

I was a patient with Dr. Ramzan from Mayo clinic into private practice. I remember his one room office to the creation of the entire center in North Scottsdale. I sent many patients to him. He was a wonderful doctor and kept me going with my Crohns. The only reason I stopped seeing him after 12 years was I relocated back to NY. He is a great man and always made me fell welcome and answered all my questions. Keep up the great work.

He was thorough and took time to explain things.

I had to call the office 3 times and had to leave a message. The 4th time I called I finally reached Dr. Ramzan's staff they the receptionist was very rude and said that I could not make an appointment until the office received my medical records. Then I had to call the office multiple time and left messages for Dr. Ramzan's medical assistant to get my results. She gave me the results from another patient! Dr. Ramzan's staff is rude and very disorganized.

I have been to another practice and wasn't as satisfied. Dr. Ramzan was knowlegable and willing to listen to what I thought. I am extremely impressed with his PA Kelly as well. She is excellent.

I had no problems with Dr Ramzan's skills. The problem is 3+ hours waiting time if you are scheduled on a Monday or Friday. This is not because he had to take longer on someone, it is because he over books on Monday's and Friday's. This is a total disregard for Patients and Staff (they get the brunt of angry Patients). I was warned but gave him the benefit. I was wrong. Expect to set a waiting room so full they need to move patients to another area. The receptionist left without even letting anyone know.

This might not be perceived as a fair review, because to this point I have not had any medical procedures performed at â??Colon and Digestive Health Associates.â?? That's scheduled for the day after tomorrow. However, I'm writing a review today because in my sixty four years, I honestly don't recall a more welcoming, on the ball or uplifting staff. Whether it was Gabby at the front desk, Medical Assistant Shannon in the back or Physicianâ??s Assistant Kelly Kollman -- everyone had given me an immediate sense that I am in excellent hands. Frequently, I am a pretty harsh critic when it comes to doctorâ??s offices, clinics and hospitals. But from the moment I walked into their office, I could tell it was clean, well managed, space efficient, and most importantly (to me) ... I felt really cared for. My presence was immediately acknowledged, I turned in my paper work and got right in -- on time! Now if Dr. Ramzan and Kazi could teach these tricks to the rest of our… healthcare providers we could all rest a little easier. And, in case youâ??re wondering, I have never met any of these people before today.

Did 2 Hemorrhoid bandings without even examining area at consultation. Still had huge protrusion and wanted to see him to explain. Without examining the area, told me to go see a surgeon and refused to see me. Rude and uncaring, short and curt. Could never explain why he was doing what he did. Unnecessary procedures???? Why wouldn't he want to see me and my husband to explain. hmmmm????
