Dr. Njideka Ekene Udochi, MD

I'm Vicky Sanchez, a long time patient of Dr Njideka Udochi. In my years as her patient, I've never had any reason to complain about her service. She is efficient and caring. A very good doctor indeed.

My name is Mary Turner , and I have been going to Dr. Udochi for many years and she is the best. I see many people get upset about the wait time . But as they say GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT!!! She will always take her time because she CARES about everyone. She has saved my life while the hospital only wanted a partial CT scan ( bottom portion) they call and DR. Udochi said NO please do upper as well. Well first let me thank GOD forgiving her the blessing and the calling!! I had a blood clot in my left lung, would not have made it. Dr . UDOCHI is the best and she will always do her best with you. However she can not run her office alone, so she has many ANGELS working with her and I thank them as well. Remember when you see these people in uniform , and at times think they should have all the answers, Know that they are HUMANS they also deal with issues as well... Soooo Thank you all for what you do , I know I’m a pain at times , but I love you all!!! Continue the GREAT work… and I pray that you and your families will reap your rewards Abundantly!!!! M. Doc is very nice very patient and lovely so to all people

I had an appointment for 11:15 made for me by the social security administration (so not my choice of doctor). I arrived early for my appointment. I waited nearly THREE HOURS to see the doctor. The front desk staff was completely dismissive and unhelpful. They would not tell me why there was such a huge delay or give me any estimate of when I would be seen. I had to have my lawyer, my social security case worker, and HER SUPERVISOR call before I was finally seen. One woman up front actually said to me ‘oh they must have forgotten about you,’ Dr. Udochi is very nice. SHE actually explained what had happened (a PA called out sick) - that’s not her job. I would never go to this doctor’s office by choice.

A Priceless Jewel lives among us ! Her name is Dr. Udochi. I would recommend her to every living soul on the earth! Best Doctor Ever !

I’ve been seeing Dr Udochi for 14 years and have watched her practice grow! She’s by far the most amazing doctor I’ve been to, and I’ve been to I have a medical condition that has sent me to John’s Hopkins, Mayo, UMD and every specialist I can think of. I even spent 4 weeks at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville FL, seeing tons of their specialists. Through my 10 year journey, Dr Udochi has been my primary care doctor helping me through all of it. She has the best bedside manner out of any doctor I’ve seen and truly cares for her patients. My kids are under her care and I have referred many family members and friends. I live 45 minutes from her office and I see her at least once a month, so trust me, if she wasn’t so great, I could and would easily find a different doctor ALOT closer to my home, I’m near Anne Arundel Medical Center and many other places and have excellent health insurance so I can see whoever I want, wherever I want. I choose Dr. Udochi!! Her staff is… awesome and she takes the time with each and every patient to ensure you’re getting the quality of care you deserve. I highly recommend her! Where do I begin? I originally booked an appointment with this practice based off of the reviews that I saw online; however my unfortunate experience has led me to rate the practice with one star. If I could provide no stars I would. I had an appointment scheduled today for myself and my daughter as new patients. Our appointment was scheduled for 2:30 PM and I arrived at least 15 minutes prior to my appointment. I also completed all of my paperwork in advance and had them ready for submission. Needless to say after checking in, I received no contact regarding my appointment until about 3:35 PM, when the receptionist told me that the delay existed because of insurance verification. This was a bit shocking to me because I already knew that I had prior authorization from my insurance company to be seen at this practice. The explanation made no sense. With a background in healthcare, I knew that statement was a mere excuse. Around 3:43 PM the technician called us back for triage and then… placed us in a patient room. I heard the doctor speaking in the patient room next-door and was discussing with individuals that appeared to be her family members. (FYI-I am bilingual and understand the native language that she speaks. I would recommend soundproofing the rooms or purchase white noise machines to be HIPPA complaint! Just a suggestion.)The conversation included lots of laughter and did not sound like it was ending anytime soon. After waiting an extended amount of time I gathered my belongings along with my daughter’s and went back to the receptionist desk to tell them that I was leaving. They asked me to wait and call the office manager who politely extended herself requesting that I wait and that the doctor will be out shortly. I went back into the room and waited again with no results. I returned to the front desk and the receptionist told me that my wait was not a result of the doctor and that it was because of my insurance, which again made absolutely no sense and was a terrible excuse for poor operations. I demanded a refund of my co-pay and was approached by the office manager who asked me to please consider seeing the doctor even if it was for five minutes. One thing I will say is that I am aware of how practices work and know that if I had gone back to see the doctor for five minutes that my insurance company would have been billed as if I receive a thorough assessment. I refused to subject myself to a five minute appointment; that is unacceptable. They further asked me to even reschedule and return to their office after I had taken off the rest of the day from my job. I demanded a refund and left highly dissatisfied and disappointment. I cannot attest to the medical care that the doctor provides, but I will say the front office operations the system in place regarding patient assignments need to be reevaluated. The overall experience and level of professionalism was poor. I will say the only level of appreciation that I have was with the office manager that sought to accommodate my daughter and myself in this horrific experience. I wish I knew what her name was but I think her for her attempts.

I like the staff and doctors but they are not worth waiting on for two hours every time I go to the doctor just to be seen for five minutes. Have been a patient for two years and I'm done. I'm now on the search for a new doctor.

Dr.Udochi is by far the best primary care doctor I’ve had! She has a gentle demeanor and takes time to listen to you. I will be recommending her to all of my friends. The medical assistants I had the pleasure of meeting were amazing and brightened my day. I left the practice feeling that I would be taken care of. I thank God that I finally have a great doctor. I’m a RN, and maybe a little picky with doctors, Dr.Udochi was very thorough and exceeded all of my expectations!

Didn't seem to care about my living situation , Mom 77 and right now my only means of transportation .. Have gone to 9 meetings , but with my mom. Taking me I hadn't had slips signed . Appointment tomorrow , just wish she would listen to me instead of assuming ... I never want another opoid in my life .... Trying to do the best I can but .
